Week 1 update:
Well guys week 1 is finished and I weighed in at 208.6 this morning. Everything went well during the week. I trained hard, hit my macros and kept up with cardio. Every thing will stay the same this upcoming week.
Hey everyone I will be beginning my log for my first cycle. I would like to start of by thanking GrAnabolics for sponsoring my first cycle. For those who aren’t familiar with my history here’s a little background.
I’ve been weight training for some time now and at my heaviest I was 320 pounds. I was able to get down to 260 and stayed around 275 because my diet wasn’t serious. Well long story short my girlfriend got pregnant and I took 4 months off for the gym and my diet got even worse. Needless to say I was shocked when I went back to the gym in January 2015 and weighed 311. I finally said to myself enough is enough and “Fuck being fat”. One of my good friends who coaches clients said he would help me with my nutrition. He gave me 2 options: a set meal plan or flexible dieting (if it fits your macros). I chose the “if it fits you macros” because being an overweight guy I figured it would be easier to keep up with and not cheat on it. I followed his plan, cardio suggestions and trained hard in the gym and lost over 100 pounds. About a month ago I had my body fat checked by calipers and they read 15%.
My goal with this cycle is to continue my cut even further and attempt to get close to 10% body fat.
Training routine will be a push, pull, leg routine taking every 4th day off and then repeating the cycle but with different variations of the exercises (example barbell one time, dumbbell the next). I will also continue the “if it fits your macros” style diet. I know some of y’all(sorry I’m from Texas lol) won’t agree with that, but it has gotten me this far so far. Now don’t worry since my macros are set low right now I won’t be pigging out on donuts and pop-tarts. Even though I do flexible dieting I keep it clean for the most part with lean proteins and good carb sources. Flexible dieting just gives me the option to still be able to eat out with my family on occasions and not be a buzz kill lol. I will be getting labs on Monday before my first pin then again while on cycle.
So my current stats:
Sex: Male
Age: 31
Height: 5’ 11”
Weight: 213 as of today(holding a lot from a week of shitty eating)
Cycle will be 12 weeks and consist of 500mg of Norma Greece Test E a week with 250mg pinned on Monday and 250mg pinned Thursdays. I will take 12.5MG of Aromasin EOD or ED.
Diet will start off with my current macros which are 225 grams of protein, 175 grams of carbs, and 50 grams of fat and which will all be adjusted as needed.
Cardio I will be doing 35 minutes on the stairs after each training session.
Monday I will update with an official start weight and pictures.
My log journal. Plan on taking notes on training session, food, etc
Even though I won't be logging until the 4th, I will still be busting my ass in the gym.
Today is legs
Friday: off
Saturday: push
Sunday: pull
Monday: legs
I will also be hitting my macros every day as well.
