Week 1 update:

Well guys week 1 is finished and I weighed in at 208.6 this morning. Everything went well during the week. I trained hard, hit my macros and kept up with cardio. Every thing will stay the same this upcoming week.


Hey everyone I will be beginning my log for my first cycle. I would like to start of by thanking GrAnabolics for sponsoring my first cycle. For those who aren’t familiar with my history here’s a little background.

I’ve been weight training for some time now and at my heaviest I was 320 pounds. I was able to get down to 260 and stayed around 275 because my diet wasn’t serious. Well long story short my girlfriend got pregnant and I took 4 months off for the gym and my diet got even worse. Needless to say I was shocked when I went back to the gym in January 2015 and weighed 311. I finally said to myself enough is enough and “Fuck being fat”. One of my good friends who coaches clients said he would help me with my nutrition. He gave me 2 options: a set meal plan or flexible dieting (if it fits your macros). I chose the “if it fits you macros” because being an overweight guy I figured it would be easier to keep up with and not cheat on it. I followed his plan, cardio suggestions and trained hard in the gym and lost over 100 pounds. About a month ago I had my body fat checked by calipers and they read 15%.

My goal with this cycle is to continue my cut even further and attempt to get close to 10% body fat.

Training routine will be a push, pull, leg routine taking every 4th day off and then repeating the cycle but with different variations of the exercises (example barbell one time, dumbbell the next). I will also continue the “if it fits your macros” style diet. I know some of y’all(sorry I’m from Texas lol) won’t agree with that, but it has gotten me this far so far. Now don’t worry since my macros are set low right now I won’t be pigging out on donuts and pop-tarts. Even though I do flexible dieting I keep it clean for the most part with lean proteins and good carb sources. Flexible dieting just gives me the option to still be able to eat out with my family on occasions and not be a buzz kill lol. I will be getting labs on Monday before my first pin then again while on cycle.

So my current stats:
Sex: Male
Age: 31
Height: 5’ 11”
Weight: 213 as of today(holding a lot from a week of shitty eating)

Cycle will be 12 weeks and consist of 500mg of Norma Greece Test E a week with 250mg pinned on Monday and 250mg pinned Thursdays. I will take 12.5MG of Aromasin EOD or ED.

Diet will start off with my current macros which are 225 grams of protein, 175 grams of carbs, and 50 grams of fat and which will all be adjusted as needed.

Cardio I will be doing 35 minutes on the stairs after each training session.

Monday I will update with an official start weight and pictures.

Even though I won't be logging until the 4th, I will still be busting my ass in the gym.

Today is legs
Friday: off
Saturday: push
Sunday: pull
Monday: legs

I will also be hitting my macros every day as well.

Eat any protien from the fattiest beef to fish. As long as it has eyes your good. Zero processed meats, bacon , sausage, etc. No fruits, no sugar/fake sugar, your body does not know the difference. No cheese, sour cream, milk OK in your coffee. No grain products. No nuts. Eat as much vegis' with butter you want and tbone steaks as you want. Feed your hungry. Eat and eat and eat. You have an eating disorder and also your body reacts to foods differently and causes you to get fat. Get yourself 200mg of Test c weekly injections. Your body fat is producing estrogen. I lost 125lbs since 8/13/2013 and live in the gym now 5 days a week. If you need more incentive to lose weight, imagine that you die from a heart attack because your a fat bastard and some guy that is NOT you is going to be raising/smacking your kid.

Good luck bro. The older you get the worse it gets. I am turning to a 12 week cycle of Tren/Winny to get the last of my 35lbs of disgusting fat off then a tummy tuck

Haha thanks! Like everyone other person around my age I grew up on the turtles and still love this to this day. My nephew is 9 and into the turtles big time so I'm schooling him on the older turtles with the cartoon seasons on DVD and also the darker comic book turtles from before the cartoon.

Plus the "turtle power" on the journal was extra nice giving the purpose for the journal lol
 
think they have another movie coming out this year-I remember the graphic novels when I was a kid they had some potty mouths
 
Yup they were. They are re-releasing the original comics in book volumes. I recently bought volume one.

They also have a new comic that started in 2011 by IDW Publishing(they own the rights now along with nickelodeon) and it's back to the dark roots. A few issues back Rock Steady and Bebop killed Donatello :(.

Today was suppose to be my off day, but I decided to go in for a little deadlifting session. I recently started to add deadlifts into my routine here and there and I'm really liking them. Hopefully I can start getting some heavier lifts while keeping my form as good as possible.

I didn' plan on starting my log until Monday but I'll go ahead and start today. My official weigh in and pics will still be posted on Monday.

I did 16 sets plus 2 failed attempts followed by 35 minutes on the stair master.

I was definitely feeling it today because yesterday was my leg day and the day before was my pull day with focusing on my rowing motions. The last 2 lifts that were sumos were my first time ever trying sumos. I think the sumos are going to take some time to get used to.

Today is my push day which consists of chest, delts and triceps. Finished with 35 minutes on the stairs after the training session. Push day typically ends up being my longest day.

Chest:

Flat DB press - 50x12, 75x12, 90x10, 100x10, 110x10, 120x6, 130x4

Incline DB press- 90x8, 100x6, 110x3, 75x8.
by the time I got to incline DB I was pretty gassed lol.

Decline hammer strength single arm (I sit sideways for a good squeeze)- 45x15, 70x15, 90x12, 115x10, 135x8

Cable flys(low to high)- 60x15, 70x12, 80x10, drop set with 70, 60, 50x10 reps each weight.

Cable flys(high to low)- 80x15, 90x12, 100x10,drop set with 80, 70, 60x10 reps each weight.

Delts:

Iso Hammer strength shoulder press(single arm)- 45x20, 70x15, 90x10, 115x8

Front plate raises drop set : 45x10, 35x10, 25x10 that's all one set. Repeat 2 more times.

Side lateral raises- 15x20, 20x15, 25x10, 30x10

Cable side lateral raises- 15x15, 20x12, 25x10, 30x10

Bent Over rear delt DB flys- 20x20, 25x15, 30x12, 35x10, 40x8

Reverse pec deck- 80x15, 100x15, 120x12, 140x10, 160x6

Triceps:

Thanks, I'm trying. It really just depends on what day it is. Push typically takes longer cause there is more involved. I threw in a little extra today since it's the weekend and I didn't have much to do outside of the gym lol. But usually I train for around 2 hours then hop on the stairs for 35 minutes afterwards.

Not too much rest between sets. I go, then my partner goes, then it's right back to me.

Today is my pull day where I focus on pulling down motions. The next pull day I will focus on my rowing motions. Whatever day it is whether it's rowing or pulling I will throw in one exercise of the other motion to still incorporate it some in the training session. I will also be hitting traps, biceps, and finishing up with 35 minutes on the stairs.

I will also be prepping some meals tonight and taking my first set of pics. Tomorrow before work I will go take my labs before my first pin.

Wide grip lat pull down- 100x20(warm up), 120x20(warm up), 160x12, 180x10, 200x10, drop set with 160, 140,120 and 100x10 reps each

Went and got my blood work done this morning. They said the results should be back in 24-48 hours. Just did my first pin as well. Everything went smooth:

Today will be the official start of my 12 week cycle.

Starting weight this morning was 210.5
