First Cycle Questions

gonna run a test only cycle for my first go but now the question is what type of test seems that each one has it's upsides and downsides and kind of balance them out. So is it mostly just a personal preference over time you figure out which kind is best for you or is one actually better then the others. i have researched cyp,prop, and enthanate, and am thinking prop maybe the best way to go because of the less sides but then again with cyp is less injections so.... i also found an oral called turanaplex that boasts almost no sides at all. Can anyone show a newb the light on this subject?
 
There are little to no sides with a moderate dosed test only cycle. 500mg of test cyp ew should do the trick.

How old are you and how much training experiance do you have...???

I mean at 154lbs at 6 foot your not very big and I wouldnt think you have many years of training under you...

28 years old been an athlete my whole life. Started lifting weights in highschool for football and soccer. Joined the infantry when i was 18 and have been in army ever since i work have worked out 5 days a week since i joined twice a day since i joined the rangers. alot of the training i do is endurance focused 8 mile runs 20 mile marches or variances of running and marching. i do wieght training every day as well on top of that. i have never been able to put on weight tho my matabolism is fierce. i really need about an extra 15 to twenty pounds of lean muscle to stay competitive in the world of special ops at my age plus there is another lvl i would like to reach i cant really talk about but the average guy doing those ops are between 5'7 and 6'2 ranging from about 180 to 220 so i would like to grow to that size range.
 
Hey Bro, I had a feeling you were BTDT when I saw your post. I started off at Harmony Church back in 86, but never made it to Batt or the school. But back to your thread. How close are you to ETS? I went from 165 - 185 Lbs naturally in a few months after my ETS.

You could go get your natural hormone levels checked out to make sure there isn't any problems but besides that you need good food and exercise only. The fact is adding hormones should only be done when your wanting to accomplish something thats impossible without them. Your not in this catagory wanting to get to 200lbs. at 6 foot. Test isn't magic and you will loose alot of your gains. Also PCT while training would be very nasty. Just trying to help
 
what do you mean by PCT sorry i am a newb !! i am also in this for the strength gains so loss of some of the mass that i gain is exceptable as long as there is a good strength gain associated. i had all my blood work done a month ago and it all came back good fact is i am in excellent help i make most athletes half my size look shameful i would like to post some pics to show you guys its not the fact that i have no muscle for my size and weight i am very well built i just wish i had about 20 more pounds on me. part of my job requires me to carry extremely heavy loads some of which are in do or die circumstances (wounded buddies in red zones) so i want to be as strong as possible when this situation arises.

when you got your bloodwork done did you get your hormone levels checked as well? PCT is post cycle therapy after you run your cycle you have to run drugs to jumpstart your natural production again since it pretty much comes to a hault "on" cycle. PCT is kinda shitty some people get depressed, sick, tired etc. At 154 i would think you should reevaluate your diet and training. If you eat enough and your test levels are still in the normal range putting on 15 to 20 pounds naturally shouldnt be a problem.
 
Sounds like you are very active but at your weight you may be hyper thyroid as well. Just a thought. Personally I think I would run prop as a first cycle. I would run it between 350 and 500 a week. I don't think you will need any more than that.
