Help these legs!

Well I just did squats all the way to the ground and started out with light weight 135 and moved up to 185 and I did 10 sets of 10 with good form. My legs were so pumped I couldn't leave the gym for like 30 minutes and my ass kept cramping up like crazy. Knees made some awful noise but seemed to hold up just fine. I am still sore today and feel like this may be the ticket. I will gradually move up in weight and drop to like 4 or 5 sets and hope the knees hold up I dont think I could handle this twice a week. Hopefully this will spark some new growth.
 
Three times a week is way too much bro. Even if you are running a shit load of gear its way to much. Twice a week is good, as long as you split it up as Quads one day, and Hams another day at separate ends of the week. Calves can be tossed in with either or but i prefer putting calves with hams.
 
ok, get off of the smith and go to regular sqauts. Leave your ego at the door and start with 135lbs. Go ass to grass with great form. Do not jump up in weight fast. Only 20lbs at a time until your form can no longer hold. Ass to grass. Let the weight work the muscle and I promise you will start growing.

I was doing squats with 4-5 plates each side and doing half as parellel moves. It could have been better. Legs were just not responding. Then I did just what I suggested to you and my legs look better than ever.

on other excersises for the legs, do drop sets for the last set.
That's how I do mine... my ass almost literally touches the ground. I can't do much more than 245lbs for 8-12 reps, but my legs responded like crazy.
