I just wounding if any of you guys are members at more than one gym.. I thinking of going to different gyms year around.. My old lady wouldn't like this.. lol

I go to three different ones. I work at one at night 4 days then go to the other ones on my days off. Also due to that my job is a hour away from home as well so I go to local gym in my area. Then I go to another one when I visit family down south so got to keep the training in line. But I will say this it will hurt your pocket if you dont have a good connection.

I'm a member at one real gym and also the county rec center. I can run to the rec center at lunch on days I know I won't be able to work out after work.

well 24/7 is my main gym now...keokuk ymca is my backup with anytime fatness....lol

I went to anytime fatness today.. And it is like going to a softcore gym.. Nothing hardcore about that gym anymore .. lol

Just one gym. I do however miss my old gym. I think about joining back there often. Just a major PITA to work out there. About a 30 minute drive.

I haven't paid for a gym membership since SoBE in 1997 ..I'm a trainer .. some gyms gave me full access .. some I had to pay a rent based on clients/week .. but never a gym membership ..been lucky ..

Only drawback now is that there are "GYM Wars " in my town .. Means to go workout in another gym is an act of treason .. Kinda sick at looking at the same people all the time

I go to several gyms in the state of Connecticut, fortunately for me I am sponsored by a few, so I actually don't have to pay for any of them...

Strongman Training
HardKore Fitness, Shelton CT
Derek Poundstones gym- Waterbury CT (when it opens next month, also will be a PT trainer there)

Regular Training
Energy Fitness-Torrington CT
The Club- New Milford, CT
Golds Gym- Bristol and New Haven CT

Switching gyms is key for my training, when you plateau a new gym, new equipment and new environment will assist you motivation wise, I swear by it.

I agree, Wesley. Every gym has different equipment with different grips, different angles, and hit your muscles differently. My new gym has different benches than any I've seen before. They are adjustable from flat to incline to straight up and down. But, they are straight for the first few feet, then they angle down at the lower back and the seat is inclined up, so they sort of contour to your back.
