Ok, here's the deal, I've been at this a long time. I'm 36 years old and started lifting when I was about 16. Lately though I keep getting plagued by recurring injuries. And not even the same injury that keeps coming back. I'll be making good progress for 3, 6 or 9 months and then BAM! tendonitis in my elbow (about 9 months ago) tendonitis in my wrist (2 months ago) sore knees or some other joint type problem. And of course the doctor says "rest". I'm sure you all know how difficult that is. Now I'm back at it after "resting" for two months, but the wrist is still sore. I've found that wearing a brace while training biceps and chest helps immensely and also to wear it the day after. I use glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM and just started taking more essential fatty acids like flax and fish oil. Are there any other suggestions out there or do I just need to face it that after all these years my joints are simply wearing down?
