I believe virtually everyone can get up to an advanced size...it might take you 15 years but you can do it....how? By being diligent, having fortitude, and doing everything right. Now in my book doing everything right is eating your way up in size and training your way up in size....along with nutritional and pharm supplements. And you do all this with a spartan like educated gameplan and you achieve it.

With that said .... "advanced size" sure doesnt mean "pro like"....thats special elite genetics.

See I am not like alot of guys on these boards who cannot face the truth of genetics like its a slap in their face of their manhood. I realized although i was very good at basketball when i was younger (and was asked to play in a semi pro league of retired NBA and college players)....that I would get my ass smoked by any NBA player of the same height because I dont have those kind of elite genetics. I also realized that no matter what I did athletically legally illegally that I would never beat Usain Bolt in a race (embarrassed and destroyed by him would be good words), I realized although I loved baseball and football that I didnt have the ability to be albert pujols or Ray Lewis no matter how hard I tried. I am also not as intelligent as Stephen Hawking, as strong as Mendelson, or as business saavy as Buffett....and I am ok with that ( I say this because the endeavor of bodybuilding has a majority of individuals who will weep if they find out they dont have the genetic response of Jay Cutler or Ronnie Coleman ) Although I made it all the way up to 303 pounds as a bodybuilder at 6'1"...standing next to Paul Dillet (same height) in the audience at a show in the 90's showed me even more so what I already knew ......that I absolutly positively with no question at all.....didnt have the genetics to be a pro bodybuilder because that guy made me look pathetic next to his insane genetics (7 inch wrists out to a gigantic forearm out to a 22 plus inch arm, huge wide delts, tiny waist etc etc etc).....it was almost laughable. Seen Paul Dillett off of drugs and not lifting or doing cardio? Looks like crap dont he? Seen Paul Dillett on drugs and lifting and doing cardio? MASSIVE, a dinosaur. Because of the genetic response to lifting weights and doing drugs that every 6'1" guy ABSOLUTELY DOESNT HAVE. Do you know how many 6 foot guys bodybuild and take massive amounts of drugs to realize their socalled dream? What is it millions? Know anyone that looked like Paul Dillet? I dont....so obviously there is a gigantic genetic component to all this.

Now the fucking morons (and you can quote me on that because I am so sick of the idiots we have in this sport now) that I see on these sites taking 300mg of tren a day and 15-20ius of gh (because they dont believe in the training and diet part of the equation) are going to meet some very dire consequences in the future. What you have in the beginning is what you have in the end genetically and thats on the outside physiquewise as it pertains to shape as well on the inside. So when i see a 19 year old kid doing drugs on another site and saying his RBC's are very high and out of range....take it to the bank that the very same 19 year old kid that if he keeps going with that course of action is going to probably have a massive stroke or heart attack sometime in his 30's. Most everyone can get away with abuse of some kind in their 20's whether its alcohol or recreational drugs or even steroids or gh.....if you get very bad bloodwork at 22 on a respectable steroid cycle....you WILL be heading toward a very bad health event unless you change that path you are on. Might take 8-15 years but it will happen. Seen it happen too many times to count now including trainees I have had full-on arguments with about things.

So these 20 something kids who are taking shitloads of tren and testosterone and 10-20ius of gh because gimmick accounts tell them to. (Its awesome to be an anonymous gimmick account obviously because they dont have any legal consequences to answer to when the person that listened to them is in the hospital waiting for the doctor to come in with the lifechanging news) ......... Anabolic Steroids, Growth Hormone, and Hypertrophy of the Heart by Willem Koert
Do you think you are going to feel that enlarged heart tommorow? Do you think you are going to feel that kidney failure tommorow? No you are not.....you will feel it when its too late. With the enlarged heart you will have a very high resting heart rate and simple things will send your heart racing and youll chalk it up to "getting bigger and building more muscle" and put it off....then when its too late youll get the bad news.....youll either damage your heart so badly that youll need a transplant, or youll have a heart attack or you maybe will be able to downsize and get your heart to downsize with you and live a long productive life. If the latter is the case though you will most likely kiss your bodybuilding and juicing career out the door because of good old muscle memory......oh you are getting your size back on and chest and biceps are getting big again? Guess what your heart is too. Award-winning bodybuilder dies in hotel - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

Kidney failure....youll chalk up the symptoms to something else (oh bloated ankles, must be the gh, sour taste in my mouth, must be the tren, lethargic, I must be training really hard)......

Does anyone in here truthfully think that Art Atwood would be dead at 37, Luke Wood would be dead in his 30's, Tom Prince would be doing dialysis, Don Youngblood would be dead, Mattarazzo would be having triple bypass in his 30's if all those guys were crossfit athletes? There will be guys juicing to the gills right now that will argue all day long (because otherwise the worry would fuck them up royally of what they are currently doing abusewise) that these things would have happened anyway but if you step away and think about it...do you really think that if they were crossfit athletes if would have happened? Im not promoting crossfit...im promoting reality.

See people get pissed off of me because I dont tell them what they want to hear like gimmick accounts. They want me to tell them you can juice and gh as much as you like and nothing will every happen to you healthwise, that all pro's use exactly this and this and this and if you do too you will also be at their level, sorry but ive seen enough bloodwork by various people over the years to have my opinions on this stuff. Alot of these guys will not believe me because its so much cooler right now to believe gimmick accounts and look awesome right now.....but they will believe me 12 years down the road when they are in their 3rd week of dialysis (4-6 hours a day 3x a week) or the doctor tells them "you have severe damage to your heart and here are our limited options"...and they look over at their wife and 2 daughters and son and wonder if they will see them through their high school years when those kids are going to need him the most.

So im sorry to get off the beaten path here but i know im not the only one astonished at the amounts of stuff that people are taking to put in their bodies now because the access is so much greater than it was in the 80's and 90's. Ive had a few friends now quit the competitive side of the sport (including two more (known names) tell me this year that they are considering getting out) because they read these boards and see the abuse simple 23 year olds are doing......and to honest i havent helped because Ive told them what so and so abuser/s has been doing who is at their level.....and it depresses them that guys dont give a shit if they trade their health/life for a freaking trophy....and they want out.

Yes good post. The amount of drugs is staggering in bodybuilding. I always stay on the lowest dose possible and come off as well. I look NOTHING like I do contest day in regular life. I know several fbbs who never go off, EVER. They are huge and ripped year round but some are bald and other have had very serious health issues like was described above. It is hard on the head to look that good then look totally different off, prob why a lot of people do not come off. I am no angel either. My trainer made me come off and I was NOT happy about it. She is in her 50s and takes months off every year, this last year 4 months off and she is in very good health and still able to compete. Good to read, thanks. I will say this in addition, my hubby used to compete and he did A LOT of gear, just a ridiculous amount. He went as far as he could and then realized that he did not have the genetics to go pro so he pulled out. All the gear in the world could not fix that for him. He does HRT now, has to as he did so much test that it really messed him up, I'm just so glad that he is in good health otherwise, it could have been so much worse.

Yeah, this is a really good thread and drives the point home. It really saddens me when a 19 year old kid comes up to me at the gym asking where he can get some d-bol tabs (no mention or even knowledge of nolvadex, clomid, arimidex, etc). Yes, I know where, yes, I could get it today, yes I could make a bunch of money off of you, no I won't do it. We live in a society of instant gratification and this is simply how it manifests itself in this field.

Even get/yet can raise rbc and triglycerides. Is staying on low hrt doses year round even safe?

Actually yes. Chronically low testosterone has been linked with heart attacks, osteoporosis, a number of cancers, and strokes and more recently some brain disorders. Your body does not know ( other than your testes which are pretty much retired if you need HRT) the difference between your bodies test and exogenous. HRT puts you at the upper normal range. Exactly where you want to be. Of course it's up to each individual if they want to look like today's crop of retiree's or Arnold or Ferrigno.

Also I didn't mean to imply that there is anything wrong with HRT. I know men who have never touched a steroid who have to do HRT. I'm not sure that my husband would be needing it right now being so young had he not did the sky high dosages that he did. So I didn't mean to make it sound like because of this he is not healthy, his testes just aren't. I used to refer to them as skittles, LOL. He is gonna kill me for that one.

Hahaha, a female friend of mine used to describe her boyfriend as having a sock with two marbles in it.

That's one of the few posts that long that I've actually read all the way through (damn ADD)...I'm glad I did though because it is something that should be posted on the wall at every gym, every locker room and men's bathroom at the gym.

I wouldn't condone "using" half of the illegal drugs out there, but there's obviously a difference between use and abuse with everything in life. This can go for drugs, vitamins, alcohol, and even food. We just need people to get this which they never will because they see 500mg of test a week work so they think well 1000mg must be better then they want to go to 2 grams a week and at what point does it end for them? The answer...it doesn't
