looking for some help on a diet !!!!

I've never tried to diet before so I'm kind of lost on this.. I would like to get down around 10% body fat by the end of july.. i know it wil be hard but I want to give it a try !!! If you guys could help out it would mean alot !!:chicken:
 
Eat like normal for 7 days and keep a journal and record meal frequency, cals, carbs, pro, fat, etc. The first thing you should do is start with cleaning up the foods you eat and eating 6 meals a day. Start with around the same cals you normally consume but clean cals only. Keep fats at bare minimum. 1.5 g protein per lb of bodyweight an make up the difference in cals with carbs. Let your body get used to the clean cals for 7-10 days then start making weekly reductions in carb intake while keeping protein high. Incorporate a carb cycle throughout the week (high, med and low carb days). Cardio fasted before breakfast 30-45 min 5-6 times per week. That is an oversimplification of my precontest diet the past 20 weeks and the fat is falling off... 6 weeks to contest day. Good luck and have fun
 
Yea, log what you're currently eating or what you've started to eat for a week and then we can give you some pointers or tips based on that. When I go into a contest diet, the main things I'll eat are chicken, steak, turkey, tuna, green beans, eggs and brocolli. Have beef jerkey and low fat popcorn for snacks as well as nuts (but they can be expensive). Plenty of water, protein, diet sodas, oatmeal as well
