I like going to the gym... gym chicks are fun to watch while on the cardio machines

I also live on the 2nd floor of an apt complex .. i am sure the people downstairs would not be happy with me doing deadlifts above their bedroom :p

watch the sales at sports authority, plates and db's are way cheaper there than they are at the used sporting goods stores here.

also at home you choose the music you want to listen to and how loud, it helps keep your intensity up

I work out at home and all of my equipment is from Sports Authority, and Harvey is right, very reasonably priced, although I think he robbed them on the bench, LOL, haven't cut a deal like that yet.

I like being at home for very much the same reasons, mostly because it's not as distracting with other people around and having to wait for equipment all the time. I don't push very heavy on anything right now and I do worry sometimes about injuring
myself w/o a spotter. Just am careful and use a very strict form.

Also I start at 3:30 AM everyday and most places around by me aren't open that early.

I bought my smith Mach at Dicks- All they had set up was the cheapy 300.00 flimsy smith.
But they had one that was 650.00 or something on the floor in a box. I told the guy I wanted him the put it together so I could see it was better than the 300.00 one. He didn't want to put it together so asked me if I would buy it for the same 300.00 price if he didn't set it up.
I set it up at home the next day and its much better.

I like the variety

I like the variety of equipment at my gym. I'd have to spend thousands of dollars to even come close at home.

I also enjoy seeing the serious gym babes - That is motivating! ok - a little distracting too, but still motivating - lol

I figure that I save some money just by using their hot water everyday instead of mine! I can take a long shower and not have to be a hypocrite when I tell my kids not to waste so much water at home.

Plus I have a home office, so if I did not go out to the gym, some days I would not leave the house and that would be too much time at home.

Motivation is in you hot gurls don't motivate me they distract me i go off to talk to them and before i know it i have wasted some of the time i have allocated for working out i personally think it would be fun collecting diffrent machines and building a nice gym over a long period of time i'am moving back in with my parents who have decided to buy a house in canada and if it all works out (and they agree to ahdn me the basement ) i will start making my own gym .
has any of you tried this bowflex machine i mean i have seen it and got the chance to try it out once and i tell you it really works three gruess of what i did i did set of squats at 400Lbs(all the weight they had on the dam thing ) and the guy that was showing it was sorta shocked but i felt it in my legs
but it cost 1750$ i'am not sure it it's candian or american either way it's a shit load of cash .what do u guys think ?

it feels just like wroking out with the cables in the gym very site specific and genrally giving me a good bluk up though i'll have to ask for an extra set of weight if i do get one the problem is for it's prie i could outfit my place with a decent variety of weights and bars :p
