My log for Battle of Champions 2011

Had a great delt and tricep workout yesterday...felt really strong, great pump...Leg day tommarow...
 
leg day went well, it was hot today. So went slower, and tried to move a decent amount of weight. Only issue, I had was my right hamstring feels slightly pulled. But, was able to still go pretty heavy, and intense.

My diet -

meal 1 - 2 scp. whey blend, 2 packages of flavored oatmeal

meal 2 - 8oz. Sirlon steak, 1 cup white rice

meal 3- same as meal 2

meal 4 - same as meal 2

meal 5 - 10-12oz. talipia, 1 cup white rice

meal 6 - 2 scp. casein, enough skim milk to mix into a pudding

cardio has been 25 mins 4 x this past week

this has been keeping me full, but leaning me out...so im going to work with this for another couple weeks.

had some junk over the weekend. Filled out a bit...

Had great delt and tricep workout tuesday, and today had a killer calf, ham and quad workout.

doing 30 mins of cardio per day, yesterday though did two 30 mins sessions...overall feel really strong, and full. Im seeing changes almost daily now.

Ok just a quick update -

had great workouts over the weekend. Felt a tad flat, so im adding in some extra red meat meals. So now Im eating 3 red meat meals, and cutting out the fish for a couple weeks. Also, added some extra carbs (white rice) this seems to just raise my metabolism even more. So prob, around an extra 50-60 grams carbs per day. Im taking in around 300-325 grams of carbs per day now.

yesterday, I looked pretty decent with the extra cals. Felt fuller, looked tighter. Better pump, but still maybe not enough food. So I will continue to add in extra carbs threwout the week.

I love how you say you looked pretty decent. I have never seen you not look decent.. You are the man in my book bro.. And Zues is look good as he'll to.. I can't wait tell I look half as good as you guys.. I know both of you will be kicking some major ass this November !!!!

thanks brother. I know in time you will catch up. You just need to understand the importance of diet. You got the training down, I know you train hard enough. You just need to get the diet down. Once you do, you will be kicking both our asses...:thumbsup:

as for today, im beat down. Im just drained, dont know why, as I've upped my cals from carbs and fats. But, im just burning threw it, and today was a long day at work. So, im taking today off, then hitting legs tommarow evening. Going to get in even more cals, and see if that helps...
 
What is your weight at now, Chris?

well being the end of the week, im down to 234lbs. At the start of the week I was 237-238lbs...Im flat, but looking much leaner, going to eat up over the weekend. Try to get my weight up to 236-238lbs again, then work my way back down.
 
well this week has been better than last week. Im getting leaner, but holding my weight better this week. Plan on changing up my diet this weekend. Cardio has increased a little bit, im doing an avg. of 35-40 mins per day now. This seems to help lean me out, (ofcourse) and with keeping my cals higher, im holding my weight better. As of today im 237lbs. Last week on thursday, I was down to 233-234lbs. I would say im as lean or a touch leaner than last week.

6 weeks out update...

well its 6 weeks out now. I feel right on track...im pretty happy with my conditioning and size im carrying. Im sitting at 232-234lbs as of today. Looking leaner, a tad flat today, but leaner. When I get a certain leaness, I start to look good even when flat.

Had some good workouts the past couple weeks. My strengh is still really decent. Not getting a great pump anymore, but still getting something after my carb ups. Overall, im happy and IMO on track....

here is some mid week pics taken this past wends. weight was around 234lbs (in the evening)

its in davenport, iowa. yeah I know crazy place for a show. but its a pro/am show with pro mens 212 (first show for that weight) and pro bikini. With a NQ NPC show...called the Battle of Champions. Sounds like alot of people are doing the show...but we will see when its time...:rolleyes:
