News last night

Did anyone catch the news last night and hear them talking about giving back money. The president said that each person would be getting $300 and married couples get $600. There was like a 117 million dollar where they were giving it back to the economy. Who gets this money?? Do we?? They said there are a few more things they have to do to finalize it but they said its gonna happen in the next few months

yep it started at 800$ and then it was brought down to 500 and apperently 300$ now, and its for non tax payers as well, not sure how that works but thats what they said

were spending 274 million dollars a day in Iraq of tax dollars, and they offer us a lousy 300$

and those numbers i just posted are the exact latest numbers on how much were spending daily in Iraq, crazy right

This has to be passed yet, but as I understand it now, it would be $600 per individual and $1200 for couples filing jointly. Those eligible include individuals earning less than 75k, and couples earning less than 150,000k. I also read that there could be additional incentives for those with children (in the neighborhood of $300 per child). Checks are expected sometime in June if passed. This info is per CNN. Yeah, but I havn't done my taxes in 2 years,although, I havnt worked that much in the past two years either, or made that much money, I dont think I'll see any money from the goverment...lol

all morning long and I was getting conflicting information from co workers. So if I am reading CNN correctly this rebate is a real possiblity but not yet a reality?
