I have seen some very interesting shipping techniques used and until recently they have all worked. With the introduction of homeland security, customs is getting better at snagging packages from overseas sources, so beware.
Here is some advice when ordering from over seas source.
1. never accept a package if it is delivered more the 18 days from the time it was shipped. (It should take no longer than 2 weeks for a package to reach you no matter where it was shipped from.)
2. Get to know your mail man. If customs does snag your package a postal inspector posing as your mail man will most likely come to your door and verify if you recieve mail there. This is your first clue. If anyone comes your door trying to verify if you accept mail there tell them no. ( Think about it how often does your mail man come to your door)
A. If a package is delivered under suspicious circumstances, write "return to sender" on the package and do not take the package inside your house.
3. Never sign for anything.
4. Know your constitutional rights regarding search and seizure.
5. Be cautious, you are breaking the law.
6. If you have a domestic source the extra cash you pay them is worth it, to have them take virtually all of the risk for you.
7. Do not use your home computer to talk about any illegal activities. Go to the library or other public place.
8. If by chance a controlled delivery is performed on your overseas package.
A. DENY EVERYTHING
B. Use your miranda rights to remain silent and acquire an attorney.
C. IF they have to ask you a question your answer should be "NO." If they have the authority to do something they will do it without your permission, so dont give them permission for anything.
8. Remember you are innocent until proven guilty. It is very hard for them to prove that you ordered the package, even if it is sent to your address. So dont give them any information to use against you.
