I am trying to get some help here. Sometimes I get such a pump that the pump itself feels good but if I keep going its hurts like hell to continue. Esp when IGF is in play. The problem is that I am not to the point of stopping because of exhaustion or failure. What techniques do you guys use when you get like that and keep going.


 
When this happens to me i try to stretch as much as possible, especialy when doing biceps, i get a pump way to soon sometimes to the point its hard to finish, so just stretch bro, i cant think of anyhting else that might help technique waise
 
I get extremly pumped when training arms, so much so that you would laugh at the weigh I use at the end. If you are getting that much blood into the muscle you will grow, so it is a good thing. I know how painful it can be. Play with the weight you are using/number of reps. Just my opinion here but I feel it could be very dangerous to stretch a muscle that is so engorged. I know several bbers who have torn muscles doing just that. If it continues to be painful during your workout you could also try giving yourself a little longer rest in between sets as well.
 
Like Jenn said you just have to be careful. I know when I get monstrous pumps, certain exercises are out at that point as is heavy weight. I've also had a quad injury from being to pumped and doing leg presses. If the muscle is too engorged and you try to stretch to even its normal range you can injure yourself.
 
Did arms today since I couldnt go yesterday. just took longer between sets but got threw it. eating some sushi now. then time to help clean the house.
 
You guys know those killer pumps that make it so when your earbud falls out of your ear you cant put them back in cause your hand doesnt reach your ear to put the earbud back in,lol, now those are pumps!!!lol

and u look like a fcuking retard trying to bend your body and head down sideways to help it meet your hand to put the bud back in,lol
