Some of us, myself included, have a hard time eating a lot of calories. How do all of you big eaters out there eat more without feeling sick and lethargic?

I'e been learning to fill my stomach with 4 serving of oats 3 time daily. That's about 1600 calories extra in between meals. Thwow in two eggs with that and your at 2000 extra daily

Is it working? you putting on weight?

I try to find the most nutrient dense foods. You don't need to force down a lot of oatmeal or brown rice to get in those cals. Waxy maize is good too. Same with some good oils for fats. As far as protein goes, you pretty much go with what you can stand to shove down your throat. Shakes help me out the most, but I only have a few a day.

If the macronutrient ratios are correct, you shouldn't feel lethargic.

If you don't have an appetite, first port of call is a blood test to check liver function. If the liver is stressed, get a liver aid. If the liver is fine, then an appetite enhancer will help.

My liver values have always been a little elevated since I went on HRT, so I will have to see if that's the problem. It's just that I used to be able to eat a lot, even with the elevated levels, and then I remember suddenly a couple of years ago my appetite started to drop off gradually, and I wasn't able to eat what I had been eating--couldn't get it all down. There didn't seem to be any real cause for the decrease in appetite. For example, I used to be able to eat a regular size Quiznos sub with double meat in one sitting. Appetite dropped off so much that I would eat one half and then I suddenly felt full and just could not finish the rest. My appetite has stayed like that for a long time now, and the only thing that has helped was when I started using GHRP-6.

I think as I got older I just started eating less per sitting. There are probably some
fat guys out there that are the opposite. I just try to eat more times during the day.
Smaller portions but try to keep a constant intake.
