I use 23 to draw now - no damage to the rubber seal that way and it is easier to get everything out. I try to get out every last drop, regardless of what my doctor says about it. :)

wait I'm lost, so ur throwing away 6ml of test cyp

I'm definitely considering it because I finished my last cycle before I got half way through that vial, which is now a good 5 months old and I won't be starting my next cycle until mid January. I've always swabbed the seal before each use and always use fresh needles and keep the vial in the medicine container, but especially since I use 18 g needles to draw, I'm concerned the vial could have still become contaminated over time. Am I just being paranoid? Looking at the other posts, I'm thinking I should switch to a 23 g needle to draw..

18g is so much easier to use, plus if you get 1-1/2" 18g you can get every last drop out.............let all the oil pool in a corner and go get it!!!
