slin and Bloat

does slin cause bloating / water weight? If so is it due to overdosing? Man, Im packing on the puffy bloated body weight since using slin (slin R)...7 lbs in 1 week. Im using 20iu post workout , no fat in diet 2 hrs before or 4 hrs after...

Bro- Havent used slin in offseason yet so cant help-

But did use all my 8 weeks off precontest dieting and used slin day of show- I was doing a low carb diet and used slin to keep me in ketosis longer and quicker- most I did was 10 ius and I did not retain much water at all- did maintain alot of muscle-

yes the carbs u use along with insulin , also increased water intake etc does make u hold water . but u might have seen some good muscle increase as well man .
 
OK ... just checking to make sure I wasnt screwing something up. I guess I'll just swell away for awhile until its diet time. I hope there isnt a full moon anytime soon, I might start leaning hard to the left!
At this rate I can hit 290lbs in no time....

I don't think it will continue to get worse - as far as the bloat. Kind of like you get puffy and just stay that way.

How often are you using it? I have cut back to using it only once or twice a week on higher carb days and don't notice anywhere near the bloat as when I was using it 4-5 times a week.

Ive read that anything over 10iu-15iu dosent help you build more muscle it just tends to make you fatter. I guess something like a point of diminishing returns. Maybe back it down a little.
 
Ive read the same thing but it was saying over 20 iu ....I hate all this speculation. I guess its on an individual basis. I should cut back to 15iu and see.....
 
the top range effective iu will differ from person to person, and with the diff types. u could take more Hum-N than Hum-R and more R than Log. Being 290 im sure u can handle more than most since u have more storage capasity for glycogen.

I just started back slin as well, i gained 10 pounds in 5 days use. i get very puffy in the midsection. also used for contest diet and kept me a bit puffy in the abs then too.
 
I feel like I have swallowed a pillow everytime I eat..... My hands are tight, my face is moonlike...ahhh this is the life.
 
I'm no expert and I know you are a big mofo, but I agree with whoever suggested cutting it down to 15 iu

We are human and as humans we tend to get greedy. If 10iu was good, 15iu is better, 20iu must be even better, and 25iu must be the best! To bad things dont always work like that especially in this sport. I always have to remind myself that.
