That's odd, injection infection?

I did a tricept injection two days ago and right where I poked myself, it left a little white zit. The injection area as a whole is a bit warm but nothing I'm concerened with just yet. I'm talking EXACTLY where I poked myself. I accidently moved the pin around quite a bit so the mark was fairly big.

Anyone else get a zit where they poke themselves?

If it's red, and warm to the touch it could be infected. Maybe its just an ingrown hair?

Never seen any pus on the pin hole in the skin except for zit's of course. you many have inadvertently hit a pore that was "ripe" for becoming a zit.

However I don't have to stress to you how serious a deep infection can become if allowed to progress, so keep an eye on it for deep infection symptoms, deep unusual soreness, redness, fever, swelling, ect.

damn dude, i had an infection in both of my triceps for the past week or so. i went to the doc and she put me on 2g of cephalexin a day for 7 days. feelin' better now but it hurt bad while it was there.
