Well, with everything going on with Grace, I have pretty much decided that im going to pass on Jr.Nats in June. The reason is because Sarah wants to re-qualify for Jr.Nats and do it. So, I need to be there for her, and Grace. Plus, with the way Grace blood sugar is right now, I want to put focus on her. I also, want Sarah to get back on stage, and get to a National stage. I have done my fair share of shows, and its time for her to put focus on getting on stage. So, for the next couple months i want to put focus on her, and on Grace.

So now, my focus is either on the summer shows like USA's or North American's. Or on Nationals in November. Im not sure the dates of the shows. But, I think with the extra time, I can really put on some more muscle, the way my body has responed for this past prep. I learned alot from this past prep, and I really believe now, i can be a true super in the lower 240lb range. I think I know what I need to do now, to get my body up to that level. I guess, it only took me 20 years to learn that, but hell better now than never. So for the summer im going to experiment with a few things and see how they work out.

So now, the focus is on Sarah and Grace...Just wanted to let MC family know what is going on...thanks for the support...

If you can add some size in the next couple months, I think you could make a good showing at Nationals. But of the other two, I'd say probably North Americans.

I can't say I blame you at all for making this chioce, your family has to come first! I'm sure everything will work itself out in the end. Whatever you do, I know you'll be successful, you're one of the few people that can overcome a lot of adversity and still stay on the right path

Chris, I have to say... I really admire your support of Sarah and putting your own bodybuilding goals aside so that she can succeed at hers. And it goes without saying that taking care of your baby girl is super important... most important, in fact! What a great husband and father! Can I ask what your secret is? Relationships are difficult enough without throwing competitions into the mix, so I'm always curious to know what works for other people as far as manipulating schedules so there's time for family, work, training, miscellaneous life commitments to attend to... there's definitely a learning curve to it, for sure. It doesn't come easy...

USAs is the last weekend in July, NAs is first weekend in September and Nationals is in early-mid November if that helps you figure out planning.

Brother...To me it was more important to be a dad and husband than to get my pro card and I fully believe I would have had it back then. I say you are doing the right thing. I am thankful your little Grace is doing ok...and you are being the dad she needs. Your relationship with your wife should go to new levels as she sees you put your desires aside for the good of the family and allow her to chase her dreams too. I am sure you will pack on tons of size and good luck. I like to see it when people do the right thing...you are a winner in my book whether you ever get another trophy or not.

You're an awesome guy Chris and I hope you are rewarded for your selflessness. It's very rare these days. Both your wife and daughter are very lucky to have you. I think you are making great decisions all the way around!
