What's a good target weight gain for an experienced guy in a year?

What do you guys think? Personally a solid 5 or so is awesome for me although it can fluctuate close to 20lbs. I've been 270 before, but I'm much bigger now at 250.

well in the last 2 years i gained about 42 lbs , i was 165 and last month i was 207 around 12% bf all the time, now i am cutting down and i am about 197 -195lbs

yeah if an experienced guy can add 5lbs of lean muscle mass in a year thats really good!

5 pounds of lean mass is a good amount. I can gain 5 pounds this week. It wont be lean mass though. Gaining lean should be along slow process if you want to keep it. Heck if I could gain a pound a month of lean mass I'd be happy with that.

hmmmm permanent gains? I have no idea Fluctuation gains are 15-20 pounds for me

The last couple years have been really good for me. I've noticed that the weight gain takes up alot less space and my muscles have developed a much more 3 dimensional look. Much better than I thought I would ever attain. I'm confident that I can do 5lbs in the next 12 months if I can continue on this pace.
Of course CH3N02 is very experienced and I've seen him gain tremendous size very quickly.

Shit, I gained 13 lbs in few weeks on DMZ-2 at one a day. But solid muscle you keep i would say 5 to mabey 7 lbs (if diet
stays on) of lean muscle you keep is saying something. Probably closer to 5 if its muscle you keep. After years your body
adapts slow.
