Hi guys I was just wondering what cardio routines you do when leaning down which minimizes muscle loss.

let me know, So I can see if im on the right track. . -thanks
 
Personally, when i'm on a cutting routine there is only ONE thing I do for cardio.. as I HATE cardio to begin with...

I walk at 6% incline at the fastest speed I can walk before it turns into a job... (i.e. 4.6 MPH), hold onto the display of the treadmill.... for 25 minutes TOPS.. and that includes cooldown... .... 4 days a week to lose a little weight, after every workout (i.e. 6-7 days a week) for max fat loss and minimul muscle loss.... just enough cardio to induce fat loss w/o causing your cardio to turn into a heart workout and changing your pace...

IMHO that's all you need.... cardio wise... everything else is seriously.. DIET DIET DIET.. and of course supps...
 
i did the same when i was 23... I never ran b/c i have bad knees so i can't do anything that is high impact... plus i hate to admit it.. but i've been a smoker since i was 18 and i'm 31 now... and all the heavy hitters that i know.. do the same thing i described... 45 min's turns your fat workout into a heart workout... seriously.. any other imput would be great for those who know more...

i hate cardio.. period... and honestly when i'm cutting, i'm a big fan of T3... plus that cardio that i stated.. cutting carbs.. and i drop BF% huge w/o muscle loss.... then again, i'm usually on AAS when i take t3 so i don't have any protien loss...
 
Try doing speed sets. Burn fat and build muscle at the same time. I hate cardio because it is boring as hell. If I'm going to bust my ass, I like to know that I'm going to grow. I think thats why I dont do cardio. But I dont look like Presser. Yet.
 
klowdog... you got a point, i forgot to mention... when i'm cutting, i take no longer than 30 seconds between sets.... it sucks, b/c i'm out of breath and sore/pumped as shit.... and sometimes i feel week.. but i push through them... and when it's all said and done... you've done your workout AND a cardio circuit

easy bike for 30-40 min transition to the mirror for frequency:)
Burned my ass up last year on the stair mill twice a day and came in flat and smoother

It has been my name since I first got the internet, in like 99. It really doesn't mean anything. However, the boyfriend in the movie "Dont Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead" worked at a place called Klowndog. Remember the dickhead boss that always said he needed to have a more clowny attitude, and then the dude told him to fuck off. I guess I was watching that movie in the background when I was creating my Yahoo account or something. Im not into Insane Clown Posse or anything. I think their dorks.
