whats your grip when deadlifting?

I always use a overhand grip with both hands. I feel alot stronger this way.

flip flop between that and the traditional over/under grip...just depends on day...no rhyme or reason for it

I go over/under most of the time and to change it up I'll go double over. I have to switch the over/under up though. The natural position for me is left over, right under. I'm right handed so that's a little weird, but it just feels better that way. So on ocassions, I'll go left under right over

I usually do over. I asked a Olympic coach (actually was the coach at 3 or 4 of the olympics) why they do over/under. He said because
of the big weight, that grip keeps the bar from rolling out of your hands. Made sense.

if doing a power routine i'll use chalk and alternate grip, but normally i use straps and an overhand grip.....i fear if i don't use that grip i'll be uneven in development (my paranoia)

Anything more than a 45 plate on each side and I do too. I have little hands, so it's harder for me to maintain that grip when the weight gets too heavy.

I do overhand. Basically I feel its better at preventing a bicep tear than over/under hand

It's surprising how many people do double over, I've never really seen anyone do this. May just be something I've not noticed, but I have only seen videos of people using it other than when they are doing stiff leg deads

i use overhand up to 315 after that i use over/under, i feel i have a better grip with the over/under
