Ive been hitting calves twice a week and they are growing great up about 1/2 an inch in 1.5 months. Im thinking about hitting a few sets on bi's and tri's on chest and back day as well as hitting them hard on fridays like normal. This would be on monday and tuesday. Arms are still lagging a bit got them back up to 18'' but still an inch back from where they have been and it seems muscle memory is helping everything except my arms i dont know why. Do you work lagging parts like this or whats your route for it?

i added an xtra day of arms and calves. noticed nothing on arms. calves responded tho. but its pretty common knowledge that calves respond well to more frequency.

i do calves about 2 or 3 times a week now,,,not getting huge because im hitting alot of cardio, but they are getting stronger

my shoulders as well as my arms lag so after chest i'll do some heavy raises and then a high rep set of tricep work, then hit shoulders again thursday more compound movements and then arms again friday....i've heard this and i dont know how true it is but someone told me training your lagging bodypart along with legs will help bring them up due to the high gh release from squats and leg press seeing as the legs are one of the larger body parts...never tried it tho cause im pretty wiped out after a leg workout

ive been doing that with calfs. FOR ME, it works as long as i stick to it... but i swear if i miss a week or 2 and only do them nce, they actually lose size.... so the question is am i just volumizing the muscle in opposed to actual growth ? am i seeing just a "pump effect" ?

but as far as arms go, i seem to get my best peaks workin them twice a week

I train legs twice a week. I try to make one day quad dominant and the other ham-glute dominant, but sometimes it's just a mix of whatever I feel like doing that day. I don't see the physical results yet since I'm bulking right now, but hoping it pays off when I cut again in a couple months. My strength has improved dramatically though, so I consider that a sign of success! :)

I pretty much believe you could hit anything twice a week as long as diet and rest are in place...Now you might not be able to go all out on both workouts, but one might be a heavy lower rep day, then the other one might be a higher intensity day (drop sets, supersets, more reps overall) and that might be the ticket to bringing up lagging bodyparts..but NUTRITION has to be right on

thats what im thinking of doing one high rep day and one low heavy rep day. My diet is 100% and rest is just as good so im hoping to bring them back up.

I don't do the exact same thing both workouts. I just roll in and rock out however my body feels (heavy and low rep, volume, focus on a specific area, etc) The only thing I absolutely do is leg press and squats every leg day. I wasn't doing DLs for a while, but just started doing them again. Lunges are another thing I only do once a week or once or every 2, which I'm trying to talk myself into getting back into.

Sometimes I'll throw in some bicep work on back day or I'll do assisted pullups on shoulder or arm day just to throw in some extra reps that week. As long as I'm not sore, I don't see a reason not to but since I'm already on a 5-day split, it's hard to double up on too many things. I do what I can do though.

I always do at least one exercise with bis at the end of back and usually two on chest day for tris. I was actually going to ask this question myself.

I will usually hit up a lagging part or train my abs and calves, maybe biceps. one extra time on Sundays. I never hit it hard on Sundays, just go in and get a few more reps and get the pump.
