ok a few things to add Jpoth and presser you need both of what you speak of in order for that situation to work, Dude that sounds great but whos carrying the 300 pounds of ammunition, and a generator? lol I think its a combo of what your all saying, its not just surviving the wild, its survivng from gangs, groups of people with nothing, that need food, inoccent people who need your help, women children, injured ppl, elder people, babies etc. Dude its cool u have a route, I wouldnt have that, and im thinking about getting another rifle, just a 22 bc its light and the ammo is very cheap, I have a 35 too but def not enuf ammo, and that ammo is expensive!

Bro I'm way ahead of you. The ammo would be loaded into one of my vehicles that is well equipped for this type of situation as are my friends. Our first meeting point is a friends house that is heavily armed and fortified. He also has the generators. We would be heading down there in a convoy. Sorry to say it, but it would be survival of the fittest. My family and friends first. I have absolutely no problem eliminating threats. Im not shitting you when I say we could be loaded up and out in 10 minutes. I have every piece of tactical equipment you can have to include trauma plates for my body armor. I'm zero'd at 50 and I'm extremely accurate under ALL conditions.

Generators are fine as is our fuel situation for the vehicles. Let's be real if this turns into a lawless riotous scenario who is going to argue with 18 guys fully outfitted with tactical gear, assault rifles, pistols, hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition and years of tactical experience? Would you want $100 a gal for gas or give up as much gas as I want in exchange for your life? It is very difficult for people to fire weapons with any degree of accuracy under life and death circumstances, there are far fewer that can actually take a human life. I can.
I'm not sure what you mean by a high point carbine. A fixed carbine? I've shot my carbine (AR15) from an elevated position at fixed and moving targets. My biggest concern will be the untrained females in our group.
In my experience men can turn there feelings off to get things done that need to be done. I've never met a woman capable of this.

I was looking at these yesterday, seem pretty sweet and you can get the 9mm pretty cheap plus that ammo is cheap which is nice, biggest mag I saw was only a 15rd one tho
