Brett Wilkin Looks Massive During Guest Posing Appearance At NPC Twin Cities Open
Brett Wilkin is extremely conditioned at 280 pounds!
Brett Wilkin is one of the up-and-coming talents in the Men’s Open division. He competed at the Arnold Classic back in March but did not put on the performance he was hoping for. Now, it is clear that Wilkin has put on some serious size and made improvements since that event. Wilkin recently appeared on stage as a guest poser during the NPC Twin Cities Open and showed off his size.
Wilkin took to Instagram to share his posing routine and the fact that he was between 275-280 pounds on stage. When looking at the complete package for Wilkin, he does not lack any body part and is extremely conditioned all over.
“Here’s a clip/pics from the guest posing weighing around 275-280lbs. Have a few more guest posings coming up in Denver and Baton Rouge ahead that I’m looking forward to as we continue to progress in this offseason.”
Brett Wilkin finished second at the Chicago Pro last season in his only appearance on stage. This set the bar high for his performance in Columbus but Wilkin landed sixth during the Arnold. In a recent interview with Desktop Bodybuilding, Wilkin expressed interested in competing again this season.
When Will Brett Wilkin Compete Again?
It was assumed that Brett Wilkin would not compete again this season following the Arnold Classic. He would have time to make the necessary improvements to his physique for the 2023 season.
Instead, Wilkin wants to get back on stage to see how he stacks up. If his guest posing appearance is any indication, Wilkin might be prepared.
“Really pushing training. That was the goal. The weight is coming back on. You know, with travel and shit, lost 10-12 pounds but it’s already back on. I was back up to like 274 this morning. I really want to, and I know there’s going to be questions, I really want to compete again this year so I’m going to train really hard over these next few months to compete again in one of the later shows.”
It is unknown what show Brett Wilkin will compete in. He does expect to guest pose at other events over the next few months. It is clear that he has put on size and is improved even from March during the Arnold Classic.
“I might have to go overseas for one of these shows but I’m excited. that’s going to be a lot of fun. I have a chip on my shoulder because I didn’t show out what I’m capable of at the Arnold.”

Andrea Shaw Talks Judges Expectations & How To Build Muscle Without Getting Too Big In Women’s Bodybuilding
[embedded content]
Andrea Shaw opens up about the delicate balance of expectations in Women’s Bodybuilding by judges.
Andrea Shaw is the current reigning 2x Ms. Olympia champion. And she has no expectations to slow down anytime soon. Her goal is to break the world record and win 11 Ms. Olympia titles. But how does one master the Women’s Bodybuilding division? How does the judging differ from the Men’s Open category? In our latest GI Exclusive interview, Andrea Shaw goes into detail about the delicate balance of building massive size but not growing too large in order to stay in judges good favor.
The classic saying in bodybuilding goes – bigger is better. This is largely in reference to the Men’s Open division. Ever since Dorian Yates started the mass monster era of the sport – it seems every champion tries to out-do the other by getting as massive as possible.
Women’s Bodybuilding is the female counterpoint to Men’s Open. However the same mantra has not always stuck throughout the division’s history. It’s been notoriously known to rattle back and forth between emphasizing femininity while also building massive muscle. This expectation is rather vague – and has led to legendary women’s bodybuilders in the past – such as Bev Francis – to transform her muscle mass back and forth desperately seeking the judges approval.
With the reintroduction of Women’s Bodybuilding to the Olympia weekend – we seem to be in the beginning of a new era of the sport. And Andrea Shaw is the shining light and prime example of what a Women’s Bodybuilding champion should be. It wasn’t easy – and she has been competing since before the Ms. Olympia returned.
During our conversation with Andrea Shaw, she discusses the delicate balance of building the right physique to meet judges expectations and criteria. She breaks down her max lifts and her overall strategy for contest prep.
ABOVE: Andrea Shaw in recent guest posing.
Andrea Shaw grows muscle rather fast. It’s something she’s learned to accommodate for as she trains for the Ms. Olympia. This is especially true due to recent feedback she received from the judges last year. They told her that she no longer needed to build any muscle.
But Andrea Shaw knows she’s capable of getting bigger. This means she needs to be very aware of her diet and training to ensure she can improve – without building more size. While there is no weight limit to the open divisions, this is an example of the different expectation placed on Women’s Bodybuilding.
Not that this is a complaint, Andrea Shaw is taking the advice seriously and changing up her workout routine to focus more on more body fullness, hardness, and conditioning. Rather than bulk up with more size. Much like any other division with a weight limit – Andrea Shaw is using her weight last year as the limit to her size going into the Olympia 2022.
You can watch Andrea Shaw go into detail about Women’s Bodybuilding judging, her training routine, and how she’s balancing out her size in our latest GI Exclusive interview segment above! Mike O’Hearn Shares Two New Tricep Exercises To Use During Training Session With Aleksey Mokshyn
Mike O’Hearn showed off two creative tricep workouts to add into the mix.
Mike O’Hearn has been a fitness guru for quite some time. Over time, he has sculpted a physique that has found success as a bodybuilder, model, and actor. Now, O’Hearn continues to work hard in the gym and share some of his knowledge with the next generation.
O’Hearn was joined by bodybuilder Aleksey Mokshyn for a tricep exercise that added some new variations. He told the Ukrainian bodybuilder that it is important to enter the gym with a purpose and understand your goals before the workout begins.
This mindset, along with different workouts and discussions about fitness and bodybuilding, can be heard on The Mike O’Hearn Show, which has been brought to you by Generation Iron and BarBend.

Crossover Single-Arm Tricep Extensions
The first of two workouts for Mike O’Hearn and Aleksey Mokshyn begins on the cable machine. The starting position is often seen when training delts but this time, O’Hearn throws in a bit of a wrinkle.

The two can be seen standing straight up with their elbows bent at a 45-degree angle. From here, the arms are straightened out to work the tricep. O’Hearn explains how it is important to perform this exercise while standing straight up as opposed to bent over.
“You’re going to find pressure on the racks itself. Then you find out that spot there where the balance is. Your body is balanced. It’s not forcing. For me, I like that. I never liked doing cable crossovers where you’re so leaned in that your body is holding it.
It’s not an intense exercise, a very simpleexercisn. It’s a good warmup, a good opener, a good mind-to-muscle connection to start the workout.”
Skull Crushers/Push-Up Superset
The final exercise of the workout is a superset to hit all areas of the tricep. It begins with a variation of a skull crusher performed on the Smith machine. O’Hearn uses just his bodyweight when performing this exercise lowering his body under the bar and driving it up. From there, the duo goes right into incline push-ups, which are also performed on the Smith machine.

The Rock Showcases Incredible Strength With Weighted Dip Workout
The Rock looks in impressive condition while performing weighted dips.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently performed an epic arm day in the gym including some impressive weighted dips. The popular star thrashed his triceps as performed the movement with impeccable technique.
The ability to achieve greatness, to make progress and become your best self, isn’t something that can be done overnight. It takes countless hours, countless days, a supreme amount of dedication, and the willingness to fall down on your face and get back up every time. It can be as simple as achieving small victories consistently over time that can see help person become their best selves. This is what we see out of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Before he was the popular actor and entrepreneur that he is today, The Rock start out with his own unique struggles. Before he became a WWE wrestling superstar, The Rock was on track to becoming an NFL football player. But like so many plans of bright eyed young folk, it wasn’t meant to be. But his failure to become an NFL star led him to becoming the man that he is today. Who is that exactly? It’s a man who consistently looks to improve himself day after day. This speaks to the rock as both an entertainer and as an athlete.
Epic Triceps Training
A recent training video of The Rock showcases the talented actor and entrepreneur performing weighted dips. It is certainly a difficult exercise to perform, but like most other things, the rock tackles it with a certain level of intensity mixed with humility.
Saturday night.Burnin’ the midnight oil.The chip on this shoulder never goes away.
The Rock is just a man. A well-built, athletic, multifaceted and talented man, but a man nonetheless. Yet he is able to perform these difficult tasks and make them look easy. It’s not that the tasks themselves are easy, but that The Rock is able to consistently push himself to get into the gym and do the things that many others won’t. It’s that consistency that has allowed him to become one of the most popular figures in the world today and a world class athlete even into his 40s.
This was another of many feats that the rock has been able to accomplish over the course of his career as an athlete. Perhaps what makes these training sessions so Epic is the fact that the rock isn’t shy about pushing himself in a way many actors wouldn’t. With all that money, fame, and success it would be easy for him to get lazy, complacent, and rest on his laurels. Instead, The Rock continues to push himself and you can’t help but be motivated by that.

Closest Thing to Steroids? Top 3 Alternatives
Disclaimer: The following article is for educational purposes only and NOT to promote the use of illegal steroids. If you have any questions or concerns, Dr. Touliatos is currently available for consultations.
Anabolic steroids are becoming increasingly popular today; however, they remain taboo in sports and society due to their harsh side effects.
Thus, many gym-goers are looking for something that can mimic the anabolic effects of steroids, but with less harsh effects.
Scientists are also looking for this ‘perfect’ compound, as they attempt to treat cachexia (muscle-wasting) with less toxicity for patients.
Chemically, the potent anabolic (muscle building) and lipolytic (fat burning) effects of anabolic steroids are due to them essentially being exogenous forms of testosterone.
Thus, in theory, if a supplement could significantly increase testosterone levels to the same degree as steroids—it would also mimic their results. However, doing so would also yield a similar amount of side effects.
Thus, in order to experience the results of steroids, people will often have to brace themselves for the dreaded side effects.
“What goes up must come down”.
However, if someone is willing to experience less gains, but with more tolerable side effects; there are certain supplements (or compounds) that can help.
In this article we will not focus on very mild supplements that produce minimal results, but more powerful compounds that will actually have an effect.
SARMs
SARMs (selective androgen receptor modulators) are medicine’s attempt to create a superior anabolic compound to steroids.
SARMs work by binding to the androgen receptor and thus increasing testosterone levels, but with unique tissue selectivity.
Thus, in theory, they SARMs would replicate the anabolic effects of steroids, but without the adverse effects; such as hypertrophy to the prostate, hypertension or liver damage.
Unfortunately, in practice, SARMs can produce harsh side effects that not only may equal anabolic steroids; but may also surpass their level of toxicity.
Dr. Thomas O’Connor, a member of our medical team, has hypothesized SARMs to be more dangerous than anabolic steroids. His verdict is based on 10 years’ of anecdotal evidence and the analysis of 2,000 patients’ labs.
In medical research, two men experienced SARM-induced hepatocellular–cholestatic injuries (1). This was the consequence of taking LGD-4033 for 9 weeks and RAD-140 for just 4 weeks.
Dr. O’Connor has also observed SARMs to have deleterious effects on HDL (high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol, whilst also causing moderate damage to the HPTA (hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis); resulting in temporary testosterone suppression.
Furthermore, the positive effects of SARMs may only be mild, with merely small increases in muscle hypertrophy being experienced in clinical research (2). In one study, SARMs-users gained 1-1.5kg of lean mass in a 4-6-week period.
In contrast, users taking Testosterone Enanthate gained 5-7kg. Thus, SARMs may produce only 20% of the muscle gains of anabolic steroids (but with potentially harsher side effects).
SARMs’ mild positive effects on body composition, also correlate with real-life, anecdotal observations of SARMs users’ before and after transformations.
Bodybuilders will typically purchase SARMs online or from people they know. The legal status of SARMs is somewhat of a grey area, with them being legal for chemical research, i.e. giving them to mice and monitoring the results. However, they are illegal for humans to utilize for bodybuilding purposes.
Pros
Mild increases in muscle mass and fat loss
Cons
Illegal to purchase (for non-research purposes)
Harsh side effects
Many SARMs products have been found to be tainted
Not as potent as anabolic steroids
HGH (Human Growth Hormone)
HGH is not an anabolic steroid, although it mimics several of steroids’ properties; such as fat loss, muscle hypertrophy/strength and endurance.
HGH is a peptide hormone, often taken by bodybuilders wanting to take their physique to the next level. The proportion of muscle-building and fat loss is dissimilar to steroids, with HGH having more lipolytic (fat burning) effects than anabolic.
Thus, HGH may be more effective than anabolic steroids for reductions in fat mass, but less effective for muscle hypertrophy.
Typical HGH transfmation
Furthermore, HGH does not cause a ‘crash’ post-cycle, thus a PCT (post-cycle therapy) is unnecessary. Although exogenous HGH causes temporary declines in endogenous (natural) HGH levels; these typically recover in a matter of days post-cycle.
In contrast, damage to the HPTA post steroid cycle and can cause low endogenous testosterone levels for several weeks or months following.
Like anabolic steroids, HGH poses various risks to users, including heart disease (left ventricular hypertrophy) and an increased chance of type II diabetes.
HGH may also be carcinogenic, with Dr. O’Connor observing the following cancers transpire in patients that had regularly cycled growth hormone:
Melanomas
Esophageal cancers
Brain cancers
Heart tumor (single case)
Gastrointestinal tract cancer
It would make sense that HGH could increase a person’s risk of cancer, as it raises IGF-1 levels (a surrogate marker for cancer).
Also, HGH can cause a protruding effect to the abdomen, also known as ‘HGH gut’, which is due to an increase in visceral fat — causing a bloated look to the midsection. Anabolic steroids can also cause this same appearance in the abdomen; however, it is less pronounced than HGH. This difference can be attributed to HGH causing greater fluctuations in insulin and blood sugar levels.
HGH is not currently approved for cosmetic use, and thus bodybuilders often purchase it via the black market; as prescriptions are only possible if a person has clinically low endogenous levels.
Pros
Significant results (particularly for fat loss)
Anti-aging
Cons
HGH gut
Illegal (unless medically prescribed)
Several adverse side effects
Testosterone Boosters
If a bodybuilder wanted to stay 100% natural and operate within the confines of the law, testosterone boosters can be used — such as d-aspartic acid, tribulus terrestris, ZMA and others.
There is ample research to suggest such herbs and amino acids have a positive effect on testosterone levels; however, they are unlikely to cause exceptional elevations in serum testosterone.
There may be a rare few hyper-responders to certain testosterone boosters, causing them to gain 10lbs of lean mass from approximately 4-6 weeks of supplementation. However, this is not typical and for most users, a fraction of this is likely to be the outcome.
Other natural supplements, such as protein powders, creatine and BCAAs are unlikely to yield anything close to steroid-like results.
Pros:
Very safe (no side effects)
100% natural
Cons:
Minimal muscle gains
As testosterone boosters contain natural, FDA-approved ingredients and are 100% legal; they can be easily purchased online/over the counter.
Takeaway
Truthfully, the positive effects of anabolic steroids are largely unrivalled. Other articles online on this topic will mention natural supplements such as creatine, protein and amino acids; but their results are incomparable.
SARMs and HGH are arguably the closest thing to steroids; mimicking the muscle-building and fat burning properties—albeit at a cost.
Anabolic steroids should be discouraged, due to their potentially dangerous side effects. However, if steroids are to be taken, mild ones may be safer than some of the ‘alternative’ compounds mentioned in this article.
Some examples of relatively mild anabolic steroids (that are also FDA-approved in medicine) include Anavar, Deca Durabolin and Testosterone.
PNBA Hall of Famer Chad Martin Discusses Your Anabolic Window in Natural Bodybuilding
PNBA athlete Chad Martin talks about the short window you have in life where your testosterone is highest and recovery is best.
The Longevity Muscle Podcast sat down with Chad Martin. Martin is a 3x USA champion, 7x World Heavyweight champion, Professional Natural Bodybuilding (PNBA) Hall of Fame Inductee, and 19x Natural Olympia contestant.
The Longevity Muscle Podcast summarized what they discussed in the part II segment of their interview with Chad Martin on social media. They said:
“In this 2 part episode @chadmartinhof and @kennyratatsidisdiscuss many topics related to natural bodybuilding including how Chad’s training has evolved into his 50’s vs when he first began competing back in the 90’s!
Calisthenics for bodybuilding, gymnastics (example & shout out to @inbapnbaglobal_official pro natural bodybuilder @mitchjarv) the role of genetics vs hard work in bodybuilding, the importance of a great training environment, progressive overload, heavy weight/low reps vs light weight/high reps for building muscle, baseball and going to the pros and so much more.”
The Longevity Muscle Podcast’s Instagram statement regarding their interview with Chad Martin is below.
Training As You Age and Anabolic Window
In part I of the Longevity Muscle Podcast interview with Chad Martin, Martin talked about his past natural bodybuilding competitions and training philosophy, including explaining his “Tetris Ten” training methodology to prep for shows.
In part II of the interview, Martin discussed training at different points in life. Martin stated that everyone has a window where their hormones are best for training. Martin voiced:
“You only have these windows so many times in your life. Especially with testosterone and hormones. You only have this window once. You’re only 18, 19, 20 once. That teenage years and the years when you’re a twenty-year-old. You have this window where your testosterone levels are incredible. Your recovery rate is incredible.”
Chad Martin tells young guys that they don’t need to take anything. Because their anabolic hormones are functioning so well at that age. Martin expressed:
“If you literally train hard and eat decently, you can still eat tons of crap food at those ages. You can get away with it.”
Moreover, he believes that the most challenging part about training when you get older is holding on to muscle mass, compared to being lean. He said in his mid-40s, he started noticing a decline in muscle mass. That’s why Martin still trains with heavy weights. But, Martin asserted, “I’ve never been a high rep guy. To me, it never made sense. It was like basically doing a lot of cardio.”
Chad Martin on Why He Sticks With the INBA PNBA
Martin also dived into why he stuck with the INBA PNBA and didn’t try any other natural bodybuilding organization. Martin responded:
“The other ones, I know they’re trying. I know they have some testing. But you would never hear about guys testing positive. You know where at least with the INBA PNBA, they would post it up there, and it would almost every time be a lifetime ban.”
And Martin admits that because of the strict drug testing protocol of a failed drug test in the INBA PNBA (stripped from your title and prize money and placed in the Hall of Shame). As a result, some natural bodybuilders choose not to compete in the organization since they’re more likely to slip through the cracks in other leagues.

Flex Wheeler Undergoes Repeat Rotator Cuff Surgery In Left Shoulder
Flex Wheeler has dealt with some serious health issues over the years.
Flex Wheeler is known as a bodybuilding legend for the work he did on stage. Since retiring from the sport, he has dealt with different health issues that he has battled. Most recently, Wheeler took to social media to share that he had to undergo a repeat rotator cuff surgery in his left shoulder.
Wheeler took bodybuilding by storm in the 90s and into the 2000s. He was unable to capture the elusive Sandow Trophy but won the Arnold Classic four times. There are many who would describe Wheeler’s physique as one of the most conditioned during his time. Unfortunately, he has had to battle different issues since his time on stage has ended.
In 2019, Wheeler went through surgery when he suffered kidney failure and blood clots. Because of this, he had his right leg amputated. Toward the end of 2021, Wheeler was hospitalized with COVID-19 and went through a recovery process that lasted a month.
On Monday, Flex Wheeler shared on his Instagram account that he was still at the hospital because his pain was too severe.
Flex Wheeler Dealing With Pain Following Shoulder Surgery
This is not the first time that Flex Wheeler has underwent this procedure. It is a repeat surgery but the pain was severe this time around. Wheeler remains in the hospital from the surgery, which took place on Monday.
“MondayLeft Shoulder surgery AGAIN ..

Jesus, the amount of pain I’m in and the amount of pain I’ve been through over the past years it’s truly just Mind-bending ?.
HELP??JESUS HELP ME.Amen ??”
In retirement, Wheeler has remained active in the gym. He regularly trains himself but also trains bodybuilders that want to make improvements to their physique.
Flex Wheeler did not disclose how long he would have to remain in the hospital. As usual, Wheeler will continue to battle adversity and make a full recovery from this injury.

Antoine Vaillant Looks Incredible Ahead of His Return at the Vancouver Pro
Antoine Vaillant looks ready to make his return at the Vancouver Pro.
Top Canadian bodybuilder Antoine Vaillant is looking impressive as he gets ready to step on stage at the Vancouver Pro this weekend. With a number of issues holding Vaillant back from competing in recent years, the talented bodybuilder is ready to show he still has plenty left in the tank.
When it comes to having faith, you can’t just have it in the good times. There are going to be times where the odds aren’t in your favor, where circumstances arise that will completely take you by surprise and challenge you. Challenge your entire perspective, in fact. In those times, you must have faith above all else. If not, you’ll be threatened to be consumed by your own self-doubt and negative energy. Progress will grind to a halt, and you won’t be able to achieve the dreams that you set for yourself.
It would have been easy for Antoine Vaillant to completely give up on his bodybuilding career after discovering he had heart issues. With so many top bodybuilders passing away in recent years, my heart scare would be a love for anyone to consider hanging it up. But rather than backing away from the sport that he loves so much, Vaillant is choosing to continue to train and compete. In fact, the talented bodybuilder will be competing at this weekend’s Vancouver Pro.
With hopes of making it onto the Olympia stage this year, Antoine Vaillant has been training hard despite his unfortunate circumstances. Recently, Vaillant confirmed that he is still training despite the heart news that he received. He isn’t ready to give up on bodybuilding quite yet. Despite not competing for quite some time, Vaillant still has a truly impressive physique. His setbacks only allowed him to continue to build his resolve. Vaillant chose to have faith even in the dark times.
Now ahead of the Vancouver Pro, Antoine Vaillant is showing off his impressive prep as well as his equally remarkable physique.
We all need support. Sometimes it has to come from your own decisions.. to let people help. Accepting help might be a sign of vulnerability, but not of weakness.
The French Canadian bodybuilder is looking incredible as ever as he heads back to the posing stage.
If I’m getting ready for this weekend, does that make me a weekend warrior?
Are you excited for the return of Antoine Vaillant at the Vancouver Pro?

Aleesha Young has gained some interesting attention because of her physique.
Aleesha Young has found plenty of success on the bodybuilding stage over the course of her career. Since bursting onto the scene in Women’s Bodybuilding, Young has gotten some strange requests from those who seem to like women with muscles.
Young joined the Serious and Silliness podcast to discuss some of the highs and lows of her career. This includes some attention she has gotten because of her physique. The 37-year-old claims that she has received requests from those looking to buy videos of her “burping or farting.”
“I try to keep an open mind, but burping in front of people, selling [videos of] me burping, farting… I’m like, ‘no!’”
“I call them closet muscle lovers… I genuinely am fascinated by what draws people to me, and why. The answer is never the same, which keeps it very interesting to me, and I always try to approach a situation or a fan with an open mind.”
Aleesha Young: “I Have People Openly Be Like ‘Why Would You Want That Much Muscle?’”
Aleesha Young burst onto the scene as an extremely gifted competitor. She won the 2014 NPC USA Championships before moving to IFBB. After making her claim, Young was questioned further by the podcast host to discuss the nature of these videos.
“Both, or just a video of it. I can’t do it… I don’t blush but I’m totally blushing. I’m like, ‘no, I am not doing that’.”
Aleesha Young continued to discuss some issues she has faced and this includes public perception of her physique. Young goes in depth on some reactions she has gotten from those who do not understand bodybuilding.
“Some of the things people say to me in public, I’m just like, ‘wow, I’m not easily offended but you wouldn’t say anything like that to somebody that was overweight.
I have people that will openly be like, ‘why would you want that much muscle? Why have you done that?’ And I generally laugh. I’m still really girly, I still love makeup, I still love hair, I still love all the ‘girl things’.”
Aleesha Young has not competed since 2020 and there is no plan for her to return to the stage as of now. She continues to train in the gym and keep her physique in top shape. This leaves the door open for a potential return to competition if she wants to throw her hat back into the ring.

Hafthor Bjornsson Calls Out Tyson Fury During Training: ‘Are You Afraid? Show Yourself’
Hafthor Bjornsson continues to prepare for his next opponent and calls out Tyson Fury.
Hafthor Bjornsson has made his debut in the ring and continues to train at a high level. After taking down fellow former strongman Eddie Hall, Bjornsson is ready to take the talent level up a notch. The former World’s Strongest Man has been calling out Tyson Fury in recent weeks and did it once again on social media.
This is not the first time that the two have commented on the idea of a possible fight. At the end of June, both Fury and Bjornsson posted stories on Instagram teasing the idea of a fight. Fury retired from competitive boxing after his most recent victory over Dillan Whyte. For Bjornsson, his last time in the ring was a unanimous decision over Hall.
Fury and Bjornsson have great respect for one another and that showed during their one in-person meeting. If the two stepped in the ring together, there would be many eyes on the event.
Hafthor Bjornsson Calls Out Tyson Fury
Hafthor Bjornsson has lost a significant amount of weight since making the transition from strongman to boxer. He was one of the best in the world lifting weights and still holds the deadlift world record. Now, Bjornsson has put together a shredded physique thanks to the new diet plan and training regimen.
Along with his coach Billy Nelson, Bjornsson had just put in a huge workout to better his skills. He then took to Instagram to make a statement to Tyson Fury.
“Hey guys I hope you’re having a great, great day. I just finished my second session of the day, had a good session with my coach Billy Nelson. But hey, I have a question for one guy. Tyson Fury, where the F**k are you? I thought you said you’d come to Iceland. Are you afraid? Show yourself.”
To this point, there are no plans for a fight between Fury and Bjornsson but the idea is in the universe. Fury might have retired from boxing but he did not close the door on ideas like this that could draw a large audience and payday for both sides.
Hafthor Bjornsson brings incredible size and strength but Fury is a different animal. He is a champion with incredible footwork and instincts. Could Bjornsson actually last in the ring? It would be interesting to see how the fight would play out.
