Hollywood sensation Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has a packed schedule but never fails to get a workout in no matter the time. In a recent post made on Instagram, Johnson shared a brutal 2:30 A.M. workout session along with an intense superset routine.

The Rock first gained attention for his humongous frame and athletic abilities as a pro wrestling standout under the WWF/WWE banner in the 1990s. Johnson led the company to new heights with his charismatic personality and sharp wit on the microphone. He quickly became a fan favorite and revolutionized the ‘Attitude Era’ of the sport. He got the chance to test out his acting abilities in The Mummy Returns (2001). Then, decided to trade the wrestling ring for a career in acting.

Johnson prides himself on being the hardest worker in the room. He used the same discipline he developed as a wrestler to find success in acting. He topped the list of the highest-earning actors consecutively for two years before the pandemic and has established his status as a bona fide superstar with his films grossing more than $10.5 billion worldwide.

The 50-year-old encourages his massive fanbase to lead a healthy lifestyle and regularly motivates them with workout videos. Last October, The Rock teamed up with NFL player Aaron Donald for a fierce training session at the LA Rams gym. The duo smashed a superset of one-arm dumbbells bent over rows to start the workout.

Johnson offered a ‘killer’ leg day workout routine he utilized at the end of the training session. He incorporated five monster sets of four exercises back-to-back. He’s also renowned for rewarding himself with some of the most decadent cheat meals.

The Rock has drawn a lot of speculation about his alleged steroid use. UFC color commentator Joe Rogan is convinced Johnson uses gear and urged him to admit the alleged use after social media influencer Liver King got exposed in December. Strongman icon Eddie Hall believes Johnson is likely on TRT (testosterone replacement therapy). Hall supported Johnson in his potential steroid use since it helps improve his quality of life.

Johnson offered a grueling squat variation that he used to optimize his lower body gains earlier this year. He performed four massive sets of belt squats focusing on the negative to feel the burn. He provided an intense upper body workout routine targeting chest and back muscle development last month. The routine was entirely made up of supersets to maximize the pump.

The Rock Shares Brutal Late-Night ‘Burning Superset’ Workout

In a recent Instagram post, The Rock shared a late-night 2:30 A.M. workout using a brutal superset.

“230am Saturday night training.
Not my usual workout time, but it was just one of those long, long days where all kinds of unexpected shit gets throw at ya.

Body didn’t want to go train in the middle of the night – but that one tiny voice in my gut said you may not want to, but after a day like today, you sure as fuck need to.

Honestly, I wound up having one of the best workouts. Completely rejuvenated and able to clear my head and energy.
My adrenals were already at a 10, so in a way this was all very calming for me ???‍♂️

We gotta listen to that voice in our gut that says yes when the rest of our body is saying no.

Have a productive week.

• great burning superset here you should try

The Rock isn’t the only movie star garnering headlines for his ripped physique. Mark Wahlberg continues to draw praise for his muscle definition and youthful physique. He is known for taking to the gym at odd hours of the night for workouts as well.
