WHICH PRESIDENT HAS REALLY INCREASED THE DEBT – ACCORDING TO THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT OF THE USA THE WORD WARRIOR Bonju Blog

Federal debt January 2001 (when Bush took office) - $5.7 trillion
Federal debt January 2009 (when Obama took office) - $10.6 trillion
Federal debt today (after 2 years 10 monts under Obama) - $14.9 trillion

So, all presidents prior to Bush contributed $5.7 trillion to the debt. Bush added almost $5 trillion in 8 years. Obama has added $4.3 in less than 3 years. That's $625 billion per year for Bush and $1.5 trillion per year for Obama. Obama has nearly equalled Bush's spending already and in 8 years would have added more debt than all prior presidents COMBINED!

You need that in chart form, Metal?

Look at you, real-naming him like that. Haha, I bet most people don't even know his name is Barry Soetero.

It's from a Facebook photo. Anyone can put Treasury Department on a BS picture.

That chart provides no scientific data as a background. Just numbers scribbled on a colored chart with fancy photos. If this is enough to convince someone then there is a problem.
You should actually be insulted that someone tried to sway your opinion with this garbage. Its almost like dangling a silver chain in front of an ostrich at a petting zoo. They are hoping that with all the fancy pics and colors that you decide not to think for yourself.

Facts are Obama added more to the Federal Debt than all POTUS in the first 200 or so years of the country.

Nice try libtard.

i agree, we need term limits. eliminate the "career" politicians and get individuals who actually care about doing whats right rather than getting re-elected

Yeah, if you go to the link you provided and click on the chart it takes you to Facebook.

U do realize that the congress was republican while clinton was in office right?
Thank Newt Gingrich. He was speaker of the house.
I am not republican or democrat but republican i feel is the lesser of the two evils.
Personally i feel libertarian is the way to go.
No wars unless we r under attack, no govt intrusion in our lives, let people be free to do as they please as long as they are not infringing on the rights of others. U wanna shoot heroin? Fine. Dont count on my $$ to pull u out of the gutter. Want to use AAS? fine as long as its kept within the confines of ur home and needles are disposed of properly, want to sit at home all day w/o making an effort to get a job? Perfect, u will starve sooner or later w/o my hard earned tax $.

People always say this outlook seems harsh but there is no personal responsibility these days and theres barely an incentive to work and carry a sense of personal pride.

We all see this everyday with people not taking care of themselves. Type 2 diabetics getting fat eating hohos then getting their leg chopped off at the age of 45 bc of their own personal lack of responsibility. Then they get to suck the teet of the hardworking middle class for the next 30 yrs.

I hate to rant but this seemed like the proper thread to do so.
Bottom line is i'll take care of myself and my family. Others should do the same.

I think I see what they did. They gave Bush credit for the 2009 spending and only gave Obama credit for 2010. This is why it only shows him at $1.6 trillion. I think it's very skewed. Bush was a big spender, especially at the end. Obama is worse.

I really don't understand why the Democrats don't run someone against Obama. The Republicans aren't really strong for 2012, but most people simply will not vote for Obama again. I don't like Hillary, but she would mop up the floor with Obama and easily beat the current Republican candidates.

So u gotta ask : who really is increasing the debt? Its all of us. Either directly or indirectly... Regardless of the political party in office it will not change unless there is actual fundamental change in the way we do things. Welfare, social security, war, bailouts, even using our mail system, all increases our debt. You cant blame a president, its our system. We need to get back to our roots. Let free market and personal pride drive our economy w/o regulation and the govt with its hand up the ass of every individual and company in the USA.

I can almost agree with you here on every point, although I dont want people starving

if i were about to starve and knew there was no bail out, i would knock on ppls doors, rake their leaves, mow their lawn, wash their cars etc...if ppl knew that only they could dig themselves out rather than rely on everyone else i truly believe they would find a way..
right now theres just no incentive to do so
