My friend has titrated up to ~900mg test per week and is making some strength gains, nothing to right home about and is getting the acne and other sides but his weight has been staying the same. Actually, it has went down about 4-5lbs. Now his diet is very clean and he isl;acking in the complex carb department but keeping protein high.
Its the 4th week at this dose. I think its time for him to either back down on the dose for a few weeks and work on the carbs or continue at 900mg and add an oral to the mix.
What say you guys??

We need a lot more info here before we can give any feed back. Stats, age, AAS history, current cycle duration, goals for this cycle, ext.
Is he on HG or UG test if I may ask, and what label?

around early 40's, history of use 15 years ago. cycle started 1st feb at 300mg, tapering up to 900mg per week cyp for about 4 weeks now. Its UG. powder, made with recipe from basskillers. I think he needs a ton of calories. He is actually leaning out, getting more vascular. No water retension. Def, acne and oil production. Thinking maybe he needs to add an adjunct. He tried d-bol with it for 4 weeks at 3mg per day but was getting "red-face" and minor spikes in blood pressure, so he stopped that. Also is using IGF with each work out. Might be time to wean off IGF. Been on about 2 months. Thanks

Really no need for tampering UP the dose, stick at one dose the whole duration and stay at that, better for more stable blood levels.
No need really for a Gram a week, unless he's been using for the past 15 years like an ape.

Sounds like he need to really pay more attention to his diet then his compounds. The science is all diet my friend, not the Gear.
It's of the obvious like you stated that he is showing all the tell tale signs of the test kicking in.
If he is impatient (a bad way to be in this sport), he could add some T-bol to the mix, other then that, stay the course, work on diet and stick to a set dose in mgs with-out ramping and tweaking dosages so much. Let the test do it's work as he should be focusing on his end with other things.

If he is in his 40's, he should get some TRT, but that's a whole other topic my friend, and a no no to even talk about in the open. Just sayin!

Good luck!

Highly unlikely with these symptoms. Sounds to me like a food intake/diet issue.

yeah and if the guy is chubby he may be losing fat and gaining muscle but the fat/water loss may be more than muscle

Up the cals. You'd think after 15 years of running AAS he'd know this, but definitely get the diet in check and he'll be good to go

15 years of sauce, this guy should know body fat value vs. Muscle volume on his on body.
If one has no clue on how to listen to his or her own body after 15 years of this, then they need to find a new hobby, or go way back to basics real fast.

A lot of people rely on gear and forget about their diets sleeping habits & training. If they don't have those in check, they shouldn't be nowhere near gear. Also this isn't a hobby this is a lifestyle, bodybuilding & juicing shouldn't be taken lightly your injecting compounds what can fuck you up.

up the carbs, little bit more simple carbs if he's bulking. gram a test is good bro, doesnt matter IMO if its ug or hg, ive used some ug products that have blown hg products out of the water.

keep it simple, eat big, sleep big, lift big..........his body has no choice but to grow. if he's dedicated.

and yes this game is my HOBBY! a person is in to what their into.

Good feed back here.

Your right on the UG, I had some that was by far superior to HG, but those were the days pre-ORD.

I often use the word lifestyle to help people understand more and get a better grasp of what this means to us people, but in it all, it is OUR hobby, this is my hobby bar none!:arcade:

About the gram a week, IMO I think he should stay under a G, and NOT go over, anything more will be a waste, plus it seems that something else here is the issue in the growth factor dept. ( Coughs ) Diet!

diet is usually the issue in growth, alot of poeple are so scarred to eat carbs, its just a lack of understanding i guess. ive always had the 50/40/10 thing engrained in my head sence i started, so i guess its just my opinion.

Your spot on, carbs are huge in growth. I load up big time. Don't think that your opinion is just at that, cause it is even a tested theory and proven one. Like you stated above, diet is the main thing, sleep next, then training, and the rest, well that all falls into place when all the chips are lined up.

Clarify

This guy hasnt been on for 15 years. Its been 12-15years since his last use.
Sorry.
Yes, I beleive its diet also. Apetite is also an issue. Its that way for me to. Its hard to get the calories in. Has been using more fats, like olive oil. Trying to eat can be difficult, esp when on the road. I am trying to put together a menu of sorts to keep it simple and a "carry-on" to take on the road. I hear what your saying about dedication. I really do but life can get complicated with work, family and such but i beleive turning up the calories and stretching the stomach will be key. Also, not being afraid of simple carbs is an issue.

Rep, your buddy needs nowhere near the amount he is doing, if it's been that long. His body will react as if it's a first cycle all over, no matter his age or natty test levels currently.
Ramping up to make up for what ever he lacks is a lame way of doing things, and greater results are not always the end result.

Tell him to just eat, and if he can't eat, to drink his meals, and if he can't drink his meals, tell him to wait a hr or so and do it all over again. That simple, feed the beast.

There is no excuse in the world of why one can't eat, time, where ever the excuse may be. There is always time to fit something in there.

I pre-pack all my food for the day in a cooler, for work, or when out and about. Shakes, cottage cheese, all ready mixed tuna, fruit, veggies, ext.

Get into a routine or eating, and it will become systematic before you know it.
Both you two need not to stress about anything, but just eating for today, and getting through today with a legit and adequate amount of meals under your belt.

I have some basin tips on what you can do here, and these are just suggestion that may help you. I could PM them to you, or what ever. Just let me know.

I typed this up for someone yesterday, it's just some a strategy that I go by.

1) I use a med. that can be prescribed or even picked up at some stores, depending on your area. It is a antihistamine called Cyproheptadine (Periactin). Comes in 4 mgs. It may also be used to stimulate the appetitein animals , such is the reason most vets use it. Dr lately have been giving it to woman with Anorexia, and it has been have GREAT success. It tends to get me a little groggy, but nothing a Sugar Free Red-Bull can't fix, right?

2) We all know of the notorious B12, how ever many people seem to not know about Zinc, and it's benefits and properties in aiding appetite stimulation. It yields great results when use with other methods when trying to stimulate/increase food intake.

3) Avoid loading up on fluids as often, especially when/near food consumption time. Aviod fluids that will make you crave liquid, as fluids will cause more of a bloated, and full sensation to the stomach.
I know this is hard to follow by when a decent amount or Orals are being used in cycle, but as I said, these are just suggestions.

4) Cinnamon, it has natural properties of appetite stimulation. I eat a cin. Bagel often, and add Cin to my coffee and such.

5) Try to avoid high intake from fiber rich foods, it will suppress your appetite 5 x fold.

6)
Drink a 8oz glass of fruit juice 30-40mins before you plan on eating, or next food intake. It will spike your sugar levels, thus aiding in the craving for foods and even carb rich foods.

7)
Also artificial sweeteners added to your drinks are said to increase your appetite, As some studies suggest.

8) I don't always eat the same foods, this helps me to change things up and keep an interest in eating period, with-out getting bored to much with the same old stuff.

9) Cardio, not much tho, only on my days where eating is hard or I hit that level where I can't even look at food. I'll do some cario and up the game on it for a few days and get my body back into check and stimulated. It seems to help regulate things and keep an even balance.

10) Bro, per-make most your food and pack food with you, this way you always have something you need and never short on anything, or time for that matter.
I also use a wond/blender, it minces up some foods that I can't eat, like Tuna, I want to puke on can tuna anymore. I blend it, and add some water, and drink it down.. My theories on the food intake is, if you can't eat your cals, then fucking drink'em.. I'll drink a meal if I have to. Anything to get it down.

Hope this helps bro.
