Three quarters of my daily intake will be a fruit shake with skim milk and 1/3 scoop of protein
Letting my GI tract recoup as well as lower my cholesterol and I'll lose some fat.

Anyone ever do anything similar to this?

Oh man. Sounds like you will be putting in more time on the toilet too. lol. I'm sure it will be a nice break from solid meals for you though.

Damn!! I hate Keto myself cobra... And yes I've done the shake thing. It helps alot Metal. You'll spend a little more time on the jon, but it's needed. Not trying to sound like Presser cause you know he'll say your full of shit anyway... LMAO!!!!

I think its great for the digetsive system

I did it today, I had lunch with regular food bc we already had plans with our friends, but every other meal was shakes

It really depends on my goals and training (the keto). If I'm not training as much or if I'm really trying to lean out, I go keto. It doesn't affect my strength, BUT I've noticed my joints hurt and I get inured more often. My training and diet varies so much but a general outline would be training major parts heavy every other day and minor muscles like arms or delts on the interim days. When I go heavy I do carbs before, during, and after training and when I go light I do keto. Also, the light workouts are performed first thing in the AM so I still have carbs in my system from the night before.

I may make a thread on this...

what kind of carbs and how much carbs are you eating the night before to still feel like you are carved up in a.m workouts?

I can't even fathom this. I would starve in hours... I don't know what the ingredients of your shakes are, but surely 8 oz of tilapia with some steamed veggies would be better for you?

I don't have the same carbed up feeling that I would have if I had just eaten but it is pretty close. It could range from beans and cornbread (natural kind not processed shit) to a sweet potatoe to popcorn (again a cleaner variety) to even ice cream some nights.

Also, my body loves backloading carbs and I've found it doesn't have to be super clean most of the time for my bf to stay the same or even decrease.

It's only for 3/4 of the diet, and yes I am starving lol I have an urge that I can't satisfy, I want cereal like now!!! lol
Well let's see bananas, apples, strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, yogurt, skim milk, peanut butter, honey, grapes, orange juice- Not all that in one, but variations of those in different ones. I have added tiny amounts of protein in them (makes them frothy as hell with too much, plus it's mocha flavored)
I am doing 6 light meals so that means 4 smoothies, 2 other
Monday only did shakes
Tues- I had a sliver of Chicago style Pizza bc I can't waste food we already had, than medium chicken wings (8) and 4 shake
Wed- Again sliver of chicago style, some grilled chicken in medium wing sauce and 4 shakes (I ate 2 jelly beans after the gym lol)
I am only doing this until Saturday, but it BLOWS!!!

CONS----
Diarrhea Tuesday, but it was done Tuesday
Cravings for every food
Been way more irritable

PROS----
Cholesterol break for my heart
GI Cleanse
Over all way less shitty food by 75%

OH BY THE WAY I GOT MY ALDACTONE IN FINALLY! I'll post a new thread for that

^this kind of stuff really makes you appreciate bulking time! I can't wait to pig out on some foods again. Not so much pig out but increase cheat meals, orange juice every morning, bacon and pancakes every week, PBJ every day. EERRRRR. We can't think about these things it is mind over matter. lol

So this diet sucks 3000 times more then a no carb, it makes a no carb seem like a walk in the park on a beautiful day

No oatmeal? It's kind of like a shake....a thick carbohydrate shake with a lot of soluble fiber.... I did this for about 4 days at the tail end of a very strict diet to clean out my system. All I ate/drank was homemade chicken broth, vitamins, a post workout drink and a night time slow absorbing protein before bed. It sucked.

Effects of soluble fiber on the digestive system include its role in lowering blood cholesterol levels. It does so by slowing the reabsorption of bile from the liver through the walls of the colon, so that much of this bile leaves the body in stool. In order to manufacture more of the bile the body requires, the liver uses cholesterol, thereby decreasing the amount in the bloodstream, particularly of LDL or “bad” cholesterol.

What's up ? As of today I am down to 198 pounds! Goal is 195, last month I was at 218

Good job Brother!! Now, that MC IGF is gonna work in a very pronounced way. Stuff is almost magic anyway, but when your already lean its amazing!!
