Took a few pics at the gym this morning, finally worked up the nerve too. Weighed in at 216.2 right outta bed. Honest opinions please, I was thinking of doing a show in November, this would be my first, but i might wait until march because i dont think I have the back to pull of a good placing. If I were to start leaning out right now Id prolly come in in the mid 190s and Im not sure if I have the size to win the division, whatever it may be. Just looking for some opinions so I can make an informed decision here guys, if you need some more pics lemme know and Ill take them first thing in the morning.

I've really been working on my back, I feel it's my weak point, prolly my calves too. Im a lil on the chunky side here, I'm still trying to bulk at the moment, guess it's time to start leaning out. I meant to get a side chest shot this morning too but I was in a hurry.

I think their my best asset to be honest, took a few pics this morning but came out blurry. Their about 28 inches on most days, actually got veins coming out already and I'm still pretty chunky in my opinion. I'll get a few shots in the morning, gotta get a few full body pics. Guess I new to look up on how to prepare for a show.

A few more shots from this morning, my back is coming along nicely. Started doing cardio last week so the weight should start to come off.

work on that posing. Gotta get the shots right, you can lose placing becasue of bad posing...the body though looks like its coming in good
 
I agree with Chris, the posing is off, but you've made some nice gains and your back is looking good

the posing is horrible, lmao, im gonna have to get a coach to show me how to, I did some asking around at the gym and there are a few guys that compete there, hopefully I can get one of them to help me with my posing.

Ive been hitting my back real hard, twice a week some weeks. Try to do deadlifts every other week but my back has been so sore that its been taking 2 or 3 weeks before i can do them again so I have been doing rack pulls and they have def helped with the lats, thanks for all the comments guys.
 
There's a DVD for all of the mandatory poses which these videos came from. If you're serious about competing, you'd be ahead to buy this video and possibly all three in the series (Perfect Posing, Perfect Individual Routine and Perfect Contest Diet)
