beginner dieting need help!!

hey guys. been on this site for years. prob since 08...ive taking steroids many times but i am looking to get in shape this summer completely through dieting..
im 5-8 185 pounds i been working out for like 8 years just workout then juiced in summer prob like 5 times over the last 7 years... i know i did a lot of irreveresible damage to my body but what is done is done...... im on this diet i'll put down below but i feel like my belly is growing.. i want to lose my belly and get bigger muscles.. thats what everyone wants right lol....thats hard to do i understand.. whats more important is losing the belly...

meal 1 730am
6 egg white from egg beater carton
2 whole eggs
&
thomas whole wheat bagel thin (110cal, 24g carb, sugar 3g, protein 6g, fiber 5g) with 1 table spoon all natural peanut butter
and bananna

meal 2 1030am
protein shake 2 scoops with plain multi-grain rice cake and like 20 raw almonds and bananna

meal 3 (1:30pm) ,4 (3:30pm),5 (6:30pm)
6 oz meat (chicken, ground chicken/turkey, salmon, hamsteak) 70 grams veges (broccolli or green beens) and 1 multigrain plain rice cake

hit the gym 730ish work out like a little over an hour... down some honey in the parking lot... come home 2 scoops 100%whey with 1% milk usually like 9pm.. then 11pm cassein protein 1 scoop with all natural peanut butter



1 cheat day....i'm going to drop that to 1 cheat meal... but why do i feel like my belly is growing???? is it the bananna? do i even need to eat fruit? is it the whole wheat bagel was going to replace that with half a cup of oats... is it too many carbs in my first 2 meals? should i be taking carbs in after workout other than the honey? should i kick the almonds or all natural peanut butter in my first too meals? any advice would be awesome!
 
but everything is growing arms chest back after a month i feel like i'm bigger than i ever was all naturally...is there a way that i can still grow the muscle and lose the gut? i dont need a sick pack...i havnt done any cardio thats prob the trick right?
 
It's pretty tricky growing muscle and burning fat at the same time especially without AAS's and depending on your age and genetics maybe impossible. The best most of us can hope for is burning fat without loosing any muscle. I'd definitely start with some fasted cardio in the AM and even a second round after weight training and see how that goes after a week then you can adjust the duration accordingly. Are you taking any fat burners, if not I'd look into that as well. Your diet doesn't look too bad to me but other more experienced members can hopefully give more suggestions.
 
i am guessing the stomach "growth" you are experiancing is bloat/gas from all the protein drinks you are drinking and maybe the broccolli.
and yes you dont need a cheat day, maybe one meal a week.
i would just cut the rice cake out in meals 3,4 and 5 as well.
cut the milk out as well
 
what about adding another meal or two. Good diet is the hardest for me to follow but one that works for me, I mean getting fuller muscles
while tightening my belly is, 2 cups oatmeal and 6 egg whites (I throw in one yolk and scramble) in the morning. 4 or 5 meals of ground
turkey patties or chicken with brown rice, yams and veggi. Protien drink after workout. Simple. I feel like a fat pig always eating and I have
to sometimes force myself to eat. You get used to it, start to get hungry every couple hours and in the can every couple of hours. For me
it works to gain muscle and tighten stomach at the same time. It is hard for me to keep up cus it seems like all I am doing is cooking, eating,
washing dishes and craping. lol I think the added meals increase your metabolism also.
 
well i think your diet looks great for bulking know wonder u are puting on mass and that is great RIGHT..u are lighter than me and if i was gona try to lose my gut i would be doing cardio..alot more.... and i know how hard it is when u get older to lose your gut..
have u done a daily calorie count on that menu cuz to me that looks like alot for trimming your gut out..i have to realy bust a gut to lose weight with out supps ie AAS or eca ect ect..hows about your training routine fancy sharing that..try some H.i.T..that works for me..good luck bro cuz i know how hard it is to do it natty..
 
i really appreciate all the help guys coming home from work it was a pleasant suprise to have so many responses....i got like 30 ml of clen in my closet i yanked out lol... but that will fix my belly for now... but i dont want to keep that cycle get a belly then clen it out i hate the stuff...im gunna order 3 bottles of igf will that help?..i am gunna take out the carbs in meals 2 3 and 4 (no more rice cakes or bannanas) .. just oatmeal in the morning or wheat bread... then some rice cakes or brown rice in meal before the gym.....dextrose or honey right after gym then post workout shake.....mcgaret i know what u mean with all the cooking and dishes its a pain in the ass but i'm gettin good gains theres no way i stop dieting.im 26 years old by the way... i dont have my current bmi...how can u fight the bloat from all the food cuz in the morning my stomach looks nice and flat maybe it is the 5 scoops of whey i take a day..the broccolli is interchanged with green beans idk if that makes you bloat as well
 
o yea and im gunna cut the milk out except with the oatmeal in the morning...cardio is hard for me because my legs r like sore for 3 days after my monday leg workout... but im gunna force it in there!
 
Yea that might too much whey, I'm about 215 right now and I have 4 scoops a day but everyone is a little different. You can try adding a digestive enzyme to aid in protien breakdown and uptake and overall digestive health. I like dropping the carbs from meals 2,3, and 4 and also dropping the milk. Definitely ramp up the cardio especially a fasted session first thing in the morning. The cardio should help to loosen up your legs a bit so don't let that stop you. If they're really sore then just walk on an incline at like 3.5 mhp until they warmup then you can pick the intensity. You've got youth on your side which will make things a bit easier, assuming your past AAS usage didn't crush your natty test levels.

lol everyones different. Just a thought, if you keep cutting down and its not working, give a try to more smaller meals per day. I know it goes
against our commen sense and if it didnt work for me I wouldnt believe it. This is the interesting part, when you figure out what works for YOU.
If all else fails give it a shot.
 
i def think smaller meals is a good idea but at my job i get 2 15 min breaks and a lunch it would be hard to fit in some more meals... the microwave is in the cafeteria n it would take to long to get down there to warm something up without being noticed... i can change that to a meal.. but how many times a day can i eat chicken lol...i think im gunna try removing the carbs other than breakfast and meal 5 before workout and add in cardio see how that helps

gunna get my test levels checked next week hopefully i didnt fuck them up i only did about 5 test cycles none more than 12 weeks... and over a 7 year period
