Creatine Pre / Post / During Workout ?

The pre-workout amp I use has 5g creatine in it and I notice I get really nice pumps that help me push out more reps while going heavy - I was also taking creatine 8g after workout but all the sugar caused me to shit out most of it - I started sipping my 8g creatine during workout and I'm not shit'n water anymore - I'm assuming that means it's going where it's supposed to and not down the drain - anyone have a preference for when to take creatine ?
 
i like to drink mines during my workout they what ever i got left i chug it down. 15g of creatine, 10g bcaas, 1 scoop of Gatorade power
 
Ive tead creatine is best pre and post and can be used anytime during the day but the worst time to take it is during workout
 
I've read on another board that pre-workout is not beneficial and post is the best time but I can say in all honesty that when I sip mine during it is taking longer to fatigue and the pumps are getting better - shitting water cuz of the hydrophilic nature of creatine suckz ballz - I figured that since my body is in a constant state of recovery that it's trying like hell to absorb whatever I put down the hatch but too much sugar at once causes my body to flush the pipes and I lose not only the creatine but any other macro-nutrients that I've consumed
 
I only take 2.5 grams before workout with 48 grams of whey protein 11 grams of BCAAs and 8 grams of Glutamine & Glutamic Acid. I drink it on my way to the gym and while I workout I drink 2 scoops of Scivation Extend so 14 grams of BCAAs. Then right after cardio I do the same as pre workout and eat a slab of salmon. Pumps are great even without gear but I'm patiently waiting.

Creatine is actually an amino acid that your body uses for energy if you take it preworkout. Amino acids spike insulin especially if takin with dextrose or glucose so creatine taken with these(amino acids and sugar) will cause better absorption. I think people get shitty ass cheap creatine monohydrate and overload on it that's why they shit themselves or have stomach problems. Why don't people buy a better more expensive creatine and take less??? Anyway creatine should be taken either before or after, more research points to after. If you need extra energy and don't have a problem with cramping take it before. Either way creatine ain't gonna make or break our gains.. and find a decent creatine for God's sake!

For me creatine monohydrate 1g pre, 1g post. And I always add 1g with protein shakes. Work better for le than 5g that everybody use. And more economic!
 
creatine mono has to be taken with a sugar it needs to bind to it to help it obsorb in to your system..if u are going to take it alone buy another source ie creatine ethel ester or one of the ones ray said..creatine mono at high dose will give u an bad stomach..

I'm not sure I get a better creatine that I'm aware of - using muscle tech pre amp / creatine / whey - can u still old school cheap creatine ? Wally World & Sam's always carries EAS / MT / Twin Labs - those stores r cheap
