About a month back I went to have a regular check-up for a common medical condition. It was all kind of strange. One of the first things he asked me to do was get on the scales(WTF?). Well, I got on the scales then next thing he was taking my blood pressure, pretty unusual for Asthma huh? :suspect:
My doc does knows that I am a former competitive athlete and that I am heavy into weight training. Next thing he was saying "Whoa, you have put on a lot of weight, how have you done this?". Later on in the consultation we were discussing asthma medications he asked, "So, what drugs are you currently taking at the moment". I replied with all presciption drugs I was using, then he said, "Any other drugs?"(WTF?!)... "No".
Well that was all very weird. Things get even weirder when I recently went to see the doc to give me something to help me sleep. I told the doc that I was really struggling to get a proper night's sleep. Things went along these lines....
DOC: "How long has this been going on for?"
ME: "It's only been this bad for a couple weeks or so but it has got worse recently for some reason."
DOC: "Have you been under a lot of stress lately?"
ME: "No, nothing unusual"
DOC: "Do you have any ideas why you can't sleep?"
ME: "No"
DOC: "Are you taking any supplements...."
(then with a suspect look he ask's) "any SPECIAL supplements?" (WTF?!!! yeah creatine doc, SPECIAL creatine LOL )
Like I am really going to take a risk and say that I use AAS.
Give it a break already doc! The answer will always be NO. NO, NO, NO, NO, and NO!
