There are a lot of people that are freaked out about dnp here. Im ready to try it, but its summer time and i dont want to sweat any more than i do now.

I do feel it can be safe, but you have to do your research. Biggest thing to know is it collects in the body, so the dose will double at a certain point.

As long as you are using it for short periods of time, not taking huge doses and keeping tabs on your temp you should be okay. I get frightened when people take this lightly. This is as dangerous as insulin if not more so and insulin scares the shit out of me too. Maybe I just worry too much. lol.

Kids, I've done my research. I take all supps, drink water every half hour, my dose is 200 mgs, I take my temp every half hour. It hasn't gone above 99.
I'm not weighing myself til Friday which is when the period bloat will be gone, and after a laxative cuz DNP makes me a little constipated lol. Then I'll know how long I will run it for. I'm not doing an 8 week inferno cycle. I see guys on here using upwards of 1000 mgs and that shit is fatal. But all you guys say is "be careful".
Please don't assume I'm some ignorant chick who's being an idiot and taking this cuz she's lazy. It's all quite the opposite.
Only side I have is fatigue which feels exactly like mono. No more, no less. I can deal with it.
Last night I had some sugar free fat free ice cream (it's my PERIOD for God's sake you try eating vegetables when you get your period!) and I got sweaty after that, it was the first time I sweat after eating something, or sweat at all for that matter. I didn't mind it.

Cool, keep us updated on your progress. Don't worry if you eat a few extra carbs here and there. I know dieting gets old so a cheat meal/snack every once in a while is a good thing. It's good to see that you are doing all of these things. Don't assume that we think you are an idiot or lazy. In all honesty from what I've seen you are far from an idiot. Quite the opposite indeed. You know quite a bit about this stuff and honestly I think that knowledge makes you feel safe. It's good to see that someone actually researches stuff before doing it. Now just make sure you keep monitoring yourself...never get too comfortable.

The fatigue is another reason why i want to wait on the DNP. I've heard it can be so bad that you wont be able to lift.

Definatley keep us updated!!! We havent had a good dnp log here for quite some time.

Well, for me, going up the stairs is a task but that's the mono too. So being on DNP with mono means I'm fatigued plus a little bit more. I think it's different for everyone. Walking even tires me out, but that was the case with mono anyway. If you're not dealing with an illness like mono, you should have some minimal energy on DNP. But like I said, everyone is different. I will definitely not be doing any cardio while I'm on!
Had a bad experience this morning. Was supposed to have a procedure at 6 am which I had to fast and drink no water for after midnight. Fine, but I went to bed at 6 last night and didn't wake up til 4:30. So I'm super dehydrated, and I'm sitting there waiting for an hour and NO ONE is attending to me. I start getting so thirsty I start to see spots. I'm so pissed I'm sitting there waiting too, while other people who came in AFTER me are getting taken care of.
So I stand up, tell the receptionist I'm leaving, and just walk out. Found the nearest water machine and guzzled a bunch and felt better immediately.
SO, kids, don't do DNP if you have to go for a long time without fluids. Had they IV'd me when they were supposed to I would have been ok, but still, avoid this type of situation. Drink your water all day, I keep a water bottle next to me and sip all the time. Lesson learned.

Well it's been 6 days on 200 mgs of DNP and I started at 172 and I'm 164 now. AND I'm bloated on my period and constipated. I'm starting a colon cleanse soon for my whole body health so that should shed a few lbs too. I am very pleased with dnp. Again, indigestion and fatigue are my only sides. The fatigue is just like mono so I think the DNP is only adding to it minimally.
Hope to be 160 by the end of the week.

Thanks for the update. From what i've read, sticking to 200 per day works great. If i can, ill look for the 100 day dnp thread... that one helps out a lot.

Why do you think my diet is off? I'm a vegetarian on the road to becoming completely vegan. So I don't need advice from a meat eater. I already get advice from other vegan bodybuilders and from my old body building coach.
Veggies, grains, some fruit, and casein and soy beans.
FYI I gained 20 lbs of muscle on that diet last year in less than 4 months, so don't be telling me a veggie can't gain muscle.
Anyway, I'm not here for diet advice. This is a dnp log.
By friday if I'm down 10 lbs, I'll stay on til I lose another 10, then take a break.

Kick ass man!! at a 20 total, give us an update shot. Then hopefully when you resume, we can continue this log???

First of all, I don't get it once a week. Second of all, what kind of stalker schmoe are you to go looking for something like that? Thirdly, I'm not getting them anymore.
It's people like you that give humanity a bad name. What's your problem? What have I ever done to you? You think this is funny?

i have no idea why everyone has to mess up this post... Just let the chick write her dnp log.... sheesh..

This post has become ridiculous...

Im about to move it to the hall of shame, JRT you could realistically lay off the comments that you are on your period and constipated, it really is TOO MUCH INFORMATION, and wouldn't help anyone who would want to see your DNP Log, and the whole electric shock therapy issue being real is making Mods wonder what the entire deal is here, is this some sort of sick joke, or are you the real deal???

If so please make this Log Appropriate from this point on, and members harrassing her in this log will be warned, deleted, banned or both. JRT, please be sure to keep your attitude in order with this site and in your post
Yes I'm the real deal, and I started that log to educate my friends on MD about the stigma associated with ECT. The goal was education. No joke. Since this is a log I figured honesty would be appreciated. I won't refer to anything but my reactions to DNP henceforth.

I'm not trying to start drama. I honestly wanted to follow your results but don't you think that having ECT is as pertinent to your results with DNP as your mono is? You just said you aren't having it anymore but you were at the hospital earlier this week to have it when you got so dehydrated. Doesn't that directly effect your dnp experiment?
