I'm not a Kobe fan at all but in this instance, I believe that he is innocent and the girl is a golddigger.

While I have absolutely no information that would really help me make an informed decision...
I wouldn't be surprised if he did somehow put himself into a compromising position, and the girl (a 19 year old local to the vale, co area) decided to take advantage of his mistake. It's a touch of a stretch to imagine he had nothing to do with her, even if it was just something playful (and innocent), but it's also a stretch to think he'd be stupid enough to actually assault someone.

Nothing yet, Kobe still contends that he's innocent and I think the defense will try and stand on the fact that the sheriff's dept bypassed the district attorney and went straight to the judge for the arrest warrant.......
