Not a bad day I cut the RAW work shirt to save it for my max effort with the shirt. Decided to end big and the jump was just a bit too much. May give it a shot again in April.

Definitely need to work on the raw power of the triceps. Been doing entirely too much band work and light DB work. Time to start throwing in the Skull Crushers.

Today after the shirt work I definitely didn't have much left in the tank, did some rep work on the dips to pump some blood and called it quits.

Shirt work really takes a lot out of you. As a RAW lifter I definitely have a lot of respect and appreciation for those geared guys.

I know exactly zero about power lifting. So here's my ignorant question: why the chains? I guess they get heavier the higher the bar goes, as they are lifted off the floor? Is this right? And how does this help you as opposed to adding another plate??

The chains give variable weight
Work on stabilization
Most importantly allow you to lift more weight as you stand up pushing through your sticking points and building strength so in the future you can handle that extra plate

For example let's say it's 425lbs at the bottom
And 525 at the top
I can't squat 525 straight weight full range
But I can at some points in the lift
So using chains I get all the other benefits including more load on my muscles I wouldn't usually be able to handle

Ended up in the hospital tore my bicep off

Going to try to find some gpc 157
Waiting to hear back about surgery

Bad couple weeks for me

Just as that IGF worked its magic on my injured right bicep I tore the left bicep off

Bro, if i were ever in a fight i would want you right next to me lol, who in the fuck tears their bicep off, goes to emergency room then comes back and trains hard 2 days later lmao, you my friend are the official definition of "Beast"
 
Some dispute on the weight of the big SSB we have and I also over shot all my percentages today. Look at it as me programming in my own delusional deload. Felt good today so overshot and next time I lift Thursday I will probably be walking them out so I will go with the Lower numbers I'm actually supposed to be on.
