scar tissue pain

I was wondering if anyone has ever noticed pain due to the build up of scar tissue?

I have a couple small lumps in my right glute that kinda move around when I push on them...from time to time I get pain in the glute

I haven't done anything in that glute for over a month now-so wondering...

Yeah, I get that, too. Having injected for HRT for over 12 years, I've built up a lot of scar tissue. I've heard that a deep tissue massage can get rid of that.

Yea, I read somewhere that Cutler gets deep tissue massages to break up scar tissue, but the article was making it seem like it was injury caused scar tissue. But anyway, the only time I have pain is occassionally when I poke the needle through it. Sometimes it's absolutely painless and other times it's sensitive and like hitting a nerve

I get it. It's best to get started with deep tissue massages as soon as possible. I have it in my pec, quads, and glutes... I also get bad knots in my upper back. I get deep tissue every 2 weeks. It is excruciating and I always cry like a baby. I also use Ultrasound at least once a week. I try to do up to 4 times a week. Since starting this a year ago I've noticed a tremendous reduction in scar tissue, better ROM, and increased strength. I'm still trying to talk my Dr into giving me something for the pain while the girl is doing the massages. It's come to the point where there is nothing I dread more than that tiny girl and her massages.

when i do shoulders i get sick pumps in them, it gets to the point where it almost puts me in tears.

im assuming this is from scar tissue build up? ive been staying away from my shoulders for over a year now too

I don't know about that.... I get a dull ache when I get a crazy pump in an area with alot of scar tissue. It's like a lactic acid buildup that won't go away. Doesn't feel like any extra pump. My bodyparts w/o scar tissue get substantially more pumped.

man I don't know if the knots are scar tissue or not...in the glute the knots are located a couple of inches below where the injection site is

they hurt off and on...any ideas?

yeah bro scar tissue will and can hurt, however you can work it out, by rubbing it down, the scar tissue will start to disapate. With my surgery I had what felt like a 1/2 inch thick piece of leather or beef jerky under the incision, every day I rubbed it and now its basically gone, no jerk off jokes here by the way, far to easy and not creative

I've heard of using a foam roller to break it up? ever try that?

I've heard of it, but never done it. I have scar tissue build up in one shoulder, but not the other. I've never had any pain other than when I pin myself and have to go through layers of it, it's like sticking a straight pin through a piece of paper

work it out with your fingers bro, or have your woman do it too, the more times you do it the better it will be, and the sooner the better too

The Dude, you mentioned using an ultrasound, where did you pick that up and how much was it?
