The test cyp I get from my doc usually comes labeled with an expiration date a only few months into the future, which conveniently makes it difficult to save it up for 6 months or so to do a proper cycle :curse:. Should I be concerned with this or should the test still be good?

yeah bro my ex use to work at a Gynocologist office and he would throw away upjohn cypionate that was out dated and she use to put it to the side in the dumpster out back and i would go dumpster diving late at night and grabe them all, she also did the ordering of new cypionate and she said they were $6.35 for a 10ml x 200mg Upjohn Cypionate, it blew my mind cause back then i was paying like $200 for a bottle the same size made by mexican tornel or grovel lmao,

long story short, I've used loads of outdated cypionate

Damn, she sounds like a keeper to me lol

$6.35 for 10ml of Upjohn just goes to show that TRT is big business so anyone having issues with low t need only contact a clinic...

keep in mind that once you break the seal you should use it within 1 month according to the manufacture. I am not sure how much of this is to sell more product or how much actually get degraded.??

I actually have a little more than half a vial left from my last cycle, which I'm considering throwing out, more out of concern for sterility than potency. I always use fresh needles, swab the vial and keep it in the medicine container it came in, but after several months, I'm not sure if it may have become contaminated somehow. Any thoughts?

The month is simply for growies...if you got something nasty into the bottle, they cannot guarantee it is killed off by their anti-growie stuff and, after a month, it could be a good sized death delivering colony. :)

I agree with this.

I was kinda nice to be on TRT and get a 10ml bottle once a month due to this manufactures statement. Pharmacies and insurances couldn't turn you down, then they got smart and started making on 1ml bottles...........damn it.

I still get the 10ml bottles - and now they give me a 5 month script instead of only a 3 month one. :)

This is me. My local Walgreens tried passing off those tiny 1mil vials to me 2 at a time and I said hold up!, I've been getting 10 mil bottles for the past couple years, take these tiny vials back and give me the 10mil bottle my Dr prescribed. Just make sure to check the bag before walking away from the counter, otherwise you may be SOL until your next refill.

I've been getting the 10ml bottles, thankfully. Of course, that's what makes it so hard to throw out a bottle with a good 6 ml left, but better safe than sorry..

My doctor says he expects 25% of the bottle to be wasted. He says it is a pain to get all the liquid out, so do not bother and he expects seals to fail now and again (no surprise, he told me to pull from the bottle with an 18g needle!), so he wants to make sure I have enough. He says it is better to throw some away (since it is so cheap) than to run out. I agreed with him and promised to throw away the old bottle when I got the new...

I have four untouched bottles, just waiting for my next blast. I will have more by the time I start them. :)

That's one of the reasons I hated those little bottles, there's always that tiny bit that's impossible to extract. I'll have to try 18 to draw, I've always used 23 and that's worked great for me. Takes a little longer to draw, but less wasted.
