Shoulder Press !!!

Wat do you guys like better... Barbell or dumbells when it comes to shoulder pressing.. For the last couple of months ever time I do shoulder presses my neck get fucked up... I think it is from the S.M press.. Or maybe I going to heavy.. Wat do you guys think ??
 
I seem to lean more to dumbbells because when I'm using the barbell my hands are in a fixed position and my elbow will start to hurt sometimes. With dumbbells the motion just feels more natural. Another reason is I don't have a hood spotter and can't go heavy unless I use dbs
 
To me, dumbells just feel more natural. I don't train wit a partner so either smith or dumbells are the way I go.
 
Prob, just gonig a tad to heavy. Jerky movements on shoulder presses can mess your neck up a bit. Slow it down, focus on feeling the movement, go for a crazy pump. Maybe just drop 25% of the weight your using now, and up the reps, a tiny bit.
 
I always go with the barbell. I tend to push wider than I should with dumbell's, so I stay away from them to prevent from causing any more injury that I already have to my shoulders.
