Starting the New Year with good karma...

Well, I was stopping to get gas and no one was at the gas station when I pulled up. I went in to use the bathroom first and there was a wallet with cash sticking out of It right In front of the men's bathroom so I went ahead and walked In leaving it alone. As I walked out it was still there so I picked it up and gave It to the cashier with the cash still sticking out. I know a lot of people wouldn't have done the same

I'm the same way (in my old age - lol) That always bugs me though, that
the next guy will probably nab it. I do believe in Karma though and mabey
the cashier was cool, you know the guy will be back looking for it.
Good way to start the year bro.

Went to a Trivium/Sevenfold concert tonight and found a phone on the floor. Texted the person in the contacts as "dad" that I was giving it to the bartender, and then did it.

Feels good to make a little effort to help.

Yea, it definitely felt good to do the right thing. I know if it was mine, I'd hope for the same. If the cashier took the money and kept it, that's outta my hands, but my conscience is clear over it. I've lost my phone before one night when I was drunk and luckily an older couple found it and called my parents to let them know and I got it back so I do believe what goes around comes around

Well, the way I looked at it was that I handed the wallet to her at the counter so hopefully there's a camera right there showing that. Then hopefully she'll be on camera all night so she won't have a chance to take anything
