sorry i just had to say that since everyone and their uncles daddy says it. I just wanted to tell all the newbies to forget all the bs i have posted here when i had no clue what the hell was going on. It took alot of time, but now i know what works for me. im a hardgainer but seemed to hold water and fat alot in my stomach and made little progress. thats because i was young and stupid, didnt really have set goals in my mind. So far i have eaten no fried foods, no alcohol, training heavy & occasionally light, 5 to 7 pretty healthy meals a day(not like chicken and veg), but more like lean red meat, whole grain cereal, hambuger helper with extra lean meat, crapload of boiled peanuts which are excellent in boosting hormone levels & gaining MUSCLE like never before, and losing bodyfat slowly and steadily. I HAVE REALIZED THAT UNTIL YOU GET YOUR HEAD RIGHT, THEN YOU CANT REACH YOUR MAXIMUM POTENTIAL. I hope people who were in my situation might take this advice into consideration. This is just what works for me. ill try to post before and after pics since i started this pretty soon.
