When did you know when to stop partying?

I may be close... Ive got a good girl, about to be finished with school, have a really good job offer when im done with school, i could use my money on other things, like tonight for instance, I really dont care about going out even though everyone else is

I stoped partying when I woke up in intensive care. (seriously)
I was in my 30's and married. Believe me, partying and loose women are not
good for a relationship. I am a SLOW learner and took too long to grow up.
I you are at that level now you are ahead of the game. Be smart and dont think
you are missing something. All I have is some great stories. People mature
at different times and some never do. You are one of the lucky ones if you hit
that early. Just remember to enjoy life (that dosent mean partying) as your
living it. It took me almost dying to realize that.

Now is a good time to stop. Like you said...you have everything you want. You need to start looking towards the future. I learned young that "that life" was one that led to no where and quick. Too bad I didn't stop sooner. lol.

i agree with everybody here im 22 and i drink aka party whatever once a month or so. This summer i might twice a month just because lake season etc. But Ive cut most of the partying out. And now that im cutting im really cutting it out for a while. Good for you bro. Im still looking for the "good" girl. All i can find are the ones that put out then im done with them a week later usually. Concentrate on getting fucking huge that always helps me not even wanna drink.

haha..thats some funny shit. ive cut down to like 4-5 times a year. like my birthday, new years, shit like that. the only problem is when i do decide to get it in, i do exactly that and usually aint right for 2-3 days. but i agree with everyone above. i was just hanging out with this young girl who just turned 21 yesterday, and she just loves it and is reckless, and im trying to tell her everything said above before something bad happens to make her realize. she dont get it though. i told her the grey hair in my goatee is wisdom.

I stopped when I was raided with a no Knock warrent 5 years ago, i wsnt dealing shit just partying with the wrong people so they hit me with conspiracy to distribute, got 3 years probation did my time and drug tested clean 3 years and have been so ever since!

A couple of DUI's about 4 years or so ago sobered me up. Its just not worth it to me anymore. I can have just as much fun doing things I like without drinking or getting high now. Its took a good dose of reality to hit me but when it hit me,it hit me hard. partying took alot away from me like 1000's of dollars, plus my dignity and all that wasted time. I have a whole different outlook on life now that I'm in my mid thirties and don't plan on going back to my old lifestyle anytime soon,thats for sure. Trust me, You will know in your heart when you are ready to stop.

amen to not going back to that lifestyle bro, also i was into bodybuilding long before i did my partying and getting into trouble, so when the shit hit the fan for me in my life I always had the gym and bodybuilding to get me through the rough times and if it werent for the gym i dont know what i would have done,

no shit. I came out of a daze once and was in Mexico. (cabo san lucas)

I totally agree here. I was into fitness before I ran into the "wrong crowd". Or should I say the wrong girl and her wrong crowd.
Had alot of close calls and was lucky, I never went over the edge.

big bump for that mcgaret i went bar hopping in NYC and woke up next to a strip club in canada, to this day me and the freinds i was with have no clue which one of us drove and how the hell we made it across the border, thats damn near a 8 hour drive as well, shit that was 2 days of my life i will never get back...and let me tell yyou when i woke up it was about 9am and they dont have many hot strippers working that shift LOL

only thing i can say for sure is when i drink it must really put my system into overload. I dont have a headache the next day or anything.... but forget trying to do anything...
