After reading up on this and talking to Zeus briefly about it, I started it this week. I didn't think it'd be bad when I looked at a sample of what it looks like. Of course you can adjust the exercises a bit, but just to use the general outlilne on reps and sets.

Anyway, I did chest the first day and it wasn't too bad although I'm still sore today.

Day 2 was back day (yesterday) and I seriously couldn't stand straight up after doing deads. I normally don't do more than 5 reps on any 1 set on deads, but this calls for 2 sets of 8 and 1 set of 6 and I used 315 and it murdered my back.

Day 3 was today, legs. I only did 3 sets of 8 on each of the following, leg press, lying leg curls, barbell hack squats and straight leg deads. Again I didn't think it'd be too bad, but my legs were miserably tired after doing these so I went to the steam room and sat in there as long as I could and I don't feel too bad right now.

Don't forget to do rest pauses on every set. This just absolutely destroys you!!!!! And on the 3rd week drop sets at the end of the last set plus rest pauses on every set. I also do 4 warm up sets going up in weight b4 I start with the heavy shit. By the time I'm done, I'M DONE!!!!!

Y3T calls for changing reps for three workouts in a row, per body part, right? Like high reps week 1, medium reps week 2, and low reps week 3?

Yup, except you have it backwards. Low reps high weight 1st week, med reps moderate weight 2nd week, and high reps lower weight the 3rd. The 3rd week is very intense though with all the drop sets and rest pauses.

Yea, I have just playing with this for now so I'm just really working on the rest periods because I get so winded, but I'm going to do a generic run at this for 3 weeks then go balls out the next time. I plan on doing this for 3 weeks, taking a complete week off from weight training, then running it again with all out sets, all of the rest pause and all that.

I just went to google and typed in Y3T and there's plenty of stuff that comes up on it. It's been in a few magazines recently
