How much do you dumbbells go up to? Ours used to only go up to 120, but now they've gotten it up to 200#. I don't regularly use anything over 140, but it's nice to have that option for shrugs, I only wish I could bench or otherwise use the bigger dumbbells

Ours only go up to 75 lbs. No joke. I'm at a crappy little county rec center and I'm holding out until a new gym opens in town next month.

You probably curl those too don't you? I only use that much for shrugs...I think the most I've benched was 120#

When I started there I was having shoulder problems and couldn't really do the 75's anyway. But, now I need to move up on bench and even incline. We've asked them to get more dumbbells, but they tell us it's not a weight room, it's a rec center.

Ours goes to 140, but they are pointless, because the 120's and up that we have are like over 2 feet long lol its rediculous. When I was at the Crowne Plaze in Time Square, there dumbells were amazing they werent 8 feet long when u go to 120s, and the handles were thicker/fatter I nothiced that with the fatter handles I could do more weight.

we have 150's as the biggest, im inclining them for 6 solid reps, thats been my best. this next cycle coming up, my goal is more reps with all the same weights. im gonna try and hit all my heaviest sets for 10+ repetitions, im really gonna hit hard and stick to heavy weights but high volume.

at least five excersises per muscle group-15 to 20 sets.

I don't know Presser I spotted you doing 20 reps with 150's. I think you need to tell your gym they need heavier ones

yup thats exactly what they are, its like if u wanna do behind the heads for triceps how do u use those things, lol range of motion is like a inch both ways

one gym i go to has up to 150 the other is 120- when i asked the owner about the idea of getting some larger ones he said we dont need anybody in here bigger than you..(i dont exactly consider myself big personally). i hate the way some people think.
