William Bonac Wants To Enter 2022 Olympia “As Heavy As Possible” To Compete With Big Ramy
William Bonac discussed plan to add weight while sharing his favorite cheat meal.
William Bonac continues to be an elite contender in the Men’s Open division. He is preparing to compete at the 2022 Olympia and plans to add some extra size in order to compete with reigning two-time champion Big Ramy.
Bonac burst onto the scene thanks to his conditioning on stage. His shredded physique earned him second place during the 2019 Olympia and has had great success since then. In 2020, Bonac won the 2020 Arnold Classic and was a top-five finisher at the Olympia that same year. In 2021, Bonac earned sixth at the Olympia. Now, he shared his plan to add some more weight heading into this year’s competition.
Bonac finished as the runner-up during the Arnold Classic this year. Brandon Curry, who defeated Bonac at the Olympia in 2019, was crowned champion. Just one week later, Bonac won the Boston Pro and earned his qualification for the biggest show of the year.
William Bonac Has A Goal To Hit Moving Forward
In a recent video shared on his YouTube channel, William Bonac sat down for his favorite cheat meal and shared his plans to put on some extra size. This, paired with his exceptional conditioning, will help him take a step up come December.
Bonac revealed that his favorite cheat meal is Shawarma. This is a Middle Eastern meal of thin slices of meat slow cooked on a spit. Bonac prefers this meal because it is not too fatty and goes well with bread. He keeps his diet clean and has to force some meals in at times.
Bonac is currently in the midst of his preparation and believes he will hit his weight goals.
“I have the feeling that today I’m going to hit my goal. Because my goal was to hit 120-kg, before we started the prep. So, we already had enough with the offseason prep. Now, my coach wants me to hit 120 kilograms. My weight is up to 118.3 kilograms,” Bonac said.
There are many who believe Big Ramy is going to be difficult to beat if he enters the Olympia shredded at his current size. He has shared his weight different times and is around 330 pounds. This is why William Bonac believes size is going to be the difference.
“The condition is not something that I have a problem with. It’s more the size. Now, I will have the size to be comparable with those beasts on stage, like the region’s champion Big Ramy. It was the only thing that I was missing probably.”
This plan will is to make William Bonac as heavy as possible so he brings his best package to the stage.
“I want to gain extra muscles and try to be as heavy as possible or on stage, so we can’t be denied.”

Michelle Ibata wins the 2022 Heart of Texas Pro!
The 2022 Heart of Texas Pro took place on Saturday with the Wellness division being on full display. In the end, it was Michelle Ibata who won the show and earned a spot in the 2022 Olympia.
Ibata is one of the up-and-coming talents in Wellness and will now have a chance to step on stage next to the best in the world. She finished third at the Musclecontest Rio Pro this year, along with a fourth-place finish during the Sin City Pro.

Natural bodybuilder Michael Boyle shared some great tips on how to build quality muscle in a recent post to his social media. The natural bodybuilding champion has a high-quality physique that he was able to attain without utilizing any performance enhancing drugs. But how exactly did he do it?
Making quality muscle growth is a science. It takes consistent hard work and dedication in order to bring about growth. It takes eating the right foods and getting quality rest to make a change occur. That goes double for those who decide to build muscle without using gear. A natural bodybuilder needs to be doubly smart if they hope to make consistent quality gains.

PNBA Pro Michael Boyle has made a career of getting in tip top condition. The natural bodybuilder has won a great deal of competitions during his tenure and has coached others to get into great shape. While he may not have the massive muscle of an IFBB Pro mass monster, Boyle has built an incredible physique, all without utilizing gear.

Pro Tips
Ahead of his recent wedding Michael Boyle out in some quality leg day training at the gym. The Natural Mr. Olympia Master champion underwent a crushing leg training routine which he has used to help put on quality muscle. The coach also gave some great tips on muscle growth that any bodybuilder can use.
Gosia warned me not to be hobbling down the isle next week, so this is my last session pre the wedding.
Feeling really good so attempted 220kg in a couple of compounds this time.
When it’s your good day in the gym, it’s worth testing the water with the next weight you’re aiming for even if it’s just for that one rep on squats or deadlift. Never settle for certain weight, always be looking to make progress.
This off season my aim was 260kg deadlift, 220kg squat and 220 SLDLs and also 220kg x 20 reps for deadlift.
I ticked them all off except the last one.
My few tips for getting sick leg session done:
Get compounds in first before isolation exercises
Stick to the same exercises and work on progression of each
Keep minimum rest time between sets to keep the intensity high
Try getting your session completed as close to an hour as possible
Remember you grow outside of the gym, so appreciate recovery (non-training) days.
It’s clear that Mike Boyle has a pretty quality formula. Through his coaching many have been able to lose weight as well as build quality muscle. These words of wisdom could very well help all fitness and bodybuilding enthusiasts make some solid gains.

An inside look at the 2022 Pro/Am Iron Man Magazine Championships.
This summer held the 2022 INBA PNBA Pro/Am International Iron Man Magazine Championships. The event took place at Hermosa Beach, CA on July 30, 2022. It brought together some of the most talented natural bodybuilding stars – all battling for qualification to the Natural Olympia later this year. Generation Iron was on location for the event and captured a behind-the-scenes look recap.
The Iron Man Magazine Championships is one of the biggest INBA/PNBA competitions of the year. As such, it is also a Natural Olympia qualifier – part of the league’s Road To The Natural Olympia series of competitions. Being a pro/am competition, it also was a major opportunity for amateur natural bodybuilders to earn their pro cards.
Winners of the Iron Man Magazine Championships received up to $15,000 in cash and prizes, and first-place winners earned the opportunity to be featured on the cover of Iron Man Magazine – one of the longest running bodybuilding magazines that still operate to this day.
Of course, all show participants are drug tested with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) labs. However, WADA only uses state-of-the-art drug testing procedures. And any competitor who fails a drug test will be stripped of any title and prizes he/she may receive. Plus, they’ll be placed in the Hall of Shame.
Road To The Natural Olympia
As mentioned previously, the Iron Man Magazine Championships is part of the Road To Natural Olympia series. This means that top winners in the pro league at this competition earn qualification into the Natural Olympia this year – set to be held in Las Vegas on November 10th – 13th.
Denny Kakos founded the PNBA in 1990 because he wanted to create an organization for professional natural bodybuilders that gave out quality awards. Later, he expanded the PNBA to the INBA in 1994 to unite countries and expand natural bodybuilding globally.
Natural Olympia is the Super Bowl of natural bodybuilding competitions. And in the natural bodybuilding world, it’s equivalent to Mr. Olympia of the International Federation of Bodybuilding ad Fitness (IFBB) Pro league.
The 2022 Men’s Bodybuilding Natural Olympia winner will earn a spot on the list of Natural Olympia winners. The earliest winner dated back to John Hansen in 1998.

Antoine Weatherspoon won the 2022 Tournament of Champions Pro!
The 2022 Tournament of Champions Pro took place on Saturday, with the Men’s Physique division headlining the event. Antoine Weatherspoon took home a victory and will now be able to compete at the 2022 Olympia.
Weatherspoon appeared in three shows prior to his victory and finished top five in each show. This included a fourth-place finish at the Arnold Classic. He will now return to the Olympia for the first time since 2018.

Iain Valliere Speaks On Andrew Jacked’s Physique, Says It Is “Highly Likely” He Makes First Callout During 2022 Olympia
Iain Valliere believes that Andrew Jacked will surprise some on the Olympia stage.
Iain Valliere is an elite bodybuilder and has an eye for talent around the sport. On the Bro Chat podcast, Valliere had some praise for Andrew Jacked, who is looking to surprise some people during his first Olympia competition. According to Valliere, this is very possible come December.
Jacked earned his Pro Card during the 2022 Arnold Classic Amateur and did not waste time qualifying for the biggest competition of the year. Jacked won the 2022 Texas Pro, looking shredded on stage and displaying a physique with great symmetry. He was prepared to return to the stage during the Arnold Classic UK but is having issues with his Visa that might force him to miss the competition. This would give Jacked more time to get this issue figured out and prepare for the Olympia.
Valliere will make another appearance on the Olympia stage having won the Vancouver Pro this year. He finished seventh at the competition last year after picking up back-to-back victories at the Texas Pro and Tampa Pro.
Now, Iain Valliere is giving his opinion on Andrew Jacked, who has been one of the up-and-coming talents in bodybuilding.
Andrew Jacked Could Be Part Of The First Callout?
Andrew Jacked was impressive in Texas but the Olympia is a different animal. Iain Valliere is experience on the biggest stage and gave some thoughts on Jacked during his first appearance.
“I think it’s highly likely that he’ll be up in that first call out,” Iain Valliere said.
“He can definitely be in better condition in the rear half, you know. I don’t know. I’ve only seen him compete once at that kind of level. I don’t know if that’s like a 75 percent effort or if that’s full-fledged. At the Olympia, you gotta be peeled man.”
There are many who believe Big Ramy will come in shredded at 300+ pounds. If this is the case, he will be difficult to beat but Valliere says that Jacked can matchup in certain ways — but there are also ways he does not stack up.
“He could put his chest or his arms against Ramy’s any day but if it’s his quads or his back, no, not quite.”
Who Can Andrew Jacked Beat At The Olympia?
Brandon Curry and Hadi Choopan finished behind Big Ramy at the 2021 Olympia. This is thought to be the top tier once again, along with Hunter Labrada and Nick Walker. so, when looking at the field, it is important to think about who Andrew Jacked could possibly take down.
“It’s tough man. I need to see them all next to each other. I really can’t tell. That’s why I said it’s highly likely. I think his height and structure and size is gonna expose a lot of people’s structural flaws in that top six,” Iain Valliere said.
Iain Valliere highlighted the matchup between Andrew Jacked and Hadi Choopan.
“Hadi is tough to beat because his conditioning is f***ing just ridiculous. Look, he’ll be a little bigger and his conditioning, his conditioning makes it hard for anyone. His shape and his front double is actually very pleasing. He’s very filled in.”
At the very least, Andrew Jacked will be on stage at the Olympia. It is unknown to this point if he will be able to make his appearance at the Arnold Classic UK. Iain Valliere believes that Jacked has a chance to turn some heads on the biggest stage.

Equipoise Stack
Equipoise stack derives from testosterone, and it delivers substantial energy-storing and a fair measure of androgenic hormone. No wonder the natural body builders are having a herculean task in building an inch of muscle when their juiced brothers are packing up like crazy. It is so hard for a man with inadequate levels of testosterone in the body, to build muscles because this hormone is very crucial in the development of male features of masculinity that differentiate male and female human beings. When you rob a man testosterone, you rob him of the ability to be masculine.
Yet it is still not too late to stop the epidemic loss of the hormone. For those body builders who do not like the idea of taking steroids, there is still a way in which they can still maintain their testosterone levels high. You can still become a real alpha-male like those on the pills, driving women crazy with a sizzling physique. The thing to do is just to turn your body into a dynamic natural testosterone producing machine. The body can be stimulated to produce awesome amounts of growth-hormones and testosterone.
One way to do this is to focus on using exercises with a high level of neuromuscular activation, which have been scientifically proven to trigger testosterone production.
First, ensure your workouts never exceed 45-50 minutes. This makes sure that the testosterone produced during exercises remains at high levels and is not plummeted into cortisol levels. The hormone, cortisol is a stress hormone which essentially eats the muscle tissues to create room for increased body fat storage. A male body builder should ensure that the hormone testosterone remains high but not too high to form cortisol. This is ideally done by keeping workouts short.
But dieting remains the main way in which a male body builder can maintain the hormone testosterone high. Synthetic foods and concentrated sugars activate a devastating natural hormones crash. Concentrated fats and chemical antibiotics that are regularly ingested into the body trigger rapid loss of muscle mass and replace that loss with concentrated body fat deposits.
You should also know that if you are eating the wrong foods at the wrong time you may be in for a devastating hormone crash that will cause rapid loses in muscle mass and the unwanted accumulation of body fat. A male body builder should seek specialist help to formulate a diet that injects the body with such foods that help increase testosterone levels in the body.
Why Running and Bodybuilding Can Actually Be A Great Combination For Gains
Although not our favorite, running is far more effective than other types of cardio when it comes to bodybuilding and those big gains.
Running has long been thought to lose all those gains you worked so hard for in the gym. Many bodybuilders have been conflicted by this, for that hard-earned muscle deserves to stay. There seem to be two camps; those who believe running helps gain muscle faster and those who feel it is harmful for muscle growth. Although a tedious and monotonous exercise to do on the road, and even worse at the gym, the connection between running and bodybuilding is hard to ignore.
The question remains of just how to incorporate both in your training so as to not lose those big gains while also improving cardio and allowing running to be part of your workout routine. High-volume endurance running can lead to a low-protein diet and muscle loss, but when done right, running can benefit you in more ways than one. As a bodybuilder, it is crucial to keep a solid physical and mental state and while lifting big is the fun part, sometimes you must do the necessary evil to maximize your gains.
When done right, you will see all the work you’ve put in on full display and you will feel great in the process. Lace up those shoes and get ready to run because these reasons should be enough to slip running into your workout regiment at least a few times a week.
Muscle Growth For Enhanced Size
With frequent, long distance runs, it is easy to lose muscle and unless you are training for a marathon or long-distance competition, it is not necessary to do this. By adding running to your workout routine, it is important to have a diet that is high in protein and high in carbs to increase your chances of keeping that muscle on while also getting the most out of running.
With higher intensity workouts, the more growth hormones will flow in your system and lead to increased muscle mass (1), both un the upper body and lower body. By incorporating cardio, in particular high interval cardio, into your workouts, you will lose excess fat and that physique will begin to show (2). Shorter runs or interval training will provide a great alternative to lifting, and with the right supplements, you won’t burn your hard-earned muscle for energy, either upper body or lower body, when you run for longer distances with endurance training.
Increased Performance For Results
Running, like other forms of cardio, are the best way to build that endurance base to keep you going in the gym for much longer, as if you were to run long distances. With increased lung capacity and an efficient heart, your gains in the weight room will improve simply because you have that increased stamina to do so.
Recovery is also key to building muscle and that boost from running will increase the amount of blood your heart can pump to those worn-down muscles (3) and help reduce the amount of lactic acid in you. It can send those vital nutrients to damaged muscles in desperate need of recovery, especially after running long distances and strength training and weight training for lean muscle.
Running increases the demand on the circulatory system and makes your heart work hard to get blood to those areas that need it most (4). With poor circulation, muscle cramps and numbness are an unfortunate side effect that can hinder a bodybuilders training. Good circulation will lead to increased performance and enable you to build muscle and strength much faster while aiding in endurance running in people as they train every day.
Promote Solid Sleep For Recovery
Sleep is often overlooked for our busy schedules tend to keep us fighting to get that much needed rest. Although large amounts of caffeine and supplements can keep us awake and getting tasks done, it is a disservice to our muscle growth to deprive our body of well-deserved shut eye. During sleep, the body repairs muscle tissue that was torn during the workout (5).
Through protein synthesis, it can also enhance muscle recovery. Testosterone, which is produced during sleep, plays an important role in muscle growth as well so getting the proper rest is crucial to seeing that growth work. With running, or some other high intensity activity, studies have shown it improves our quality of sleep (6).
More sleep means more energy for that next day’s training session as the first thing you do to form your day. As athletes, we need to make sure water is in our plan too, whether you run a mile or make sure you get a good lift.
Skip Leg Day? No Problem.
While leg day is important to hit as a bodybuilder, running can reach those muscle groups that may get overlooked, or at least not looked at enough. Running at a steady pace in between weightlifting days can also increase muscle mass and prevent muscle deterioration.
Instead of sprinting, a well-placed run in your regiment can be incredibly beneficial for your muscle gains while being easy on your joints. The increase strain on your legs mixed with a solid recovery session will help your legs pop and make you feel good that you didn’t leave out any muscle groups for runners to look for when burning calories from low impact work and proper nutrition for what you think you need. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Improve Mental Health For Better Mood
Often times when you are stressed, people will tell you to go for a run. This is because a good run can release your “feel good” endorphins, which when released, can help you deal with stress (7). The increased blood circulation has a powerful effect on your mood and can reduce anxiety and depression (8).
Any good athlete knows that mental power is important to possess when faced with adversity. Running will give you confidence and allow you to push through mental walls to get you to the next level. An increased mood and stress-free attitude will allow for better athletic performance, increased sleep, and better opportunities for muscle growth while burning calories from low impact work on your legs and joints.

Running can be a difficult exercise to will yourself to start. As a bodybuilder, you may see running as the evil exercise that will diminish and ruin your hard work while burning calories you need from running or lifting. But the benefits of running and bodybuilding go hand in hand and when done right, the growth can be great.
Higher intensity workouts, like sprinting, are solid exercises to do to boost cardio and give you that much needed energy in the gym. The ability to promote sleep, increase blood circulation, and support mental health are just added bonuses with running. It is important to know your body and to know what works best, but with a solid diet and supplemental regiment, mixed with a great lift and an equally beneficial amount of cardio, your gains and athletic performance as a bodybuilder will shine through and you will look and feel great.

2022 Sasquatch Pro Results
Here are the full results from the 2022 Sasquatch Pro!
The 2022 Sasquatch Pro took place on Saturday with the winners earning qualification to the 2022 Olympia. In the end, Ashley Kaltwasser and Rhea Gayle picked up victories in their respective divisions.
Kaltwasser is one of the top Bikini competitors in the world today. She finished third at the 2021 Olympia and will have a chance to compete on the biggest stage once again. This was not her first victory of the year. Kaltwasser earned her qualification already, winning the Golden State Pro and Legends Pro this year. She was also a top-three finisher during the Arnold Classic.
Gayle appeared at the Olympia last year and will return in December. This victory punched her ticket to the most important show of the year and she will look to improve upon her finish from 2021.
