actully I believe that also...I focused on staying fuller, and keeping the fats higher to...when my carbs started to go below 100 per day, I added fats in more. Ate more red meat (up to 3 meals per day) had whole eggs (up to 6 whole eggs per day) and added coconut oil to (3-6 tbsp per day). The fats seem to help keep the muscle, but also gave me the energy to train to. Every friday night, and saturday. I had a carb up day...I tried to consume around 750-800 grams of carbs in about 24 hours or so...I start this at 6 pm friday night, and end it sat around 6-7 pm...Carbs where sugar stuff, and some complex. Even a cheat meal or two...This just seem to make my metabolism even faster. I will do the same thing for Master Nats next year. but try to come in heavier...
here are pics from today...6 days out... fuller maybe, maybe as crisp as yesterday. no diuretics, no change in water. just trying to see how I looked filled out.
wont pull water out unitl late friday evening. for now its 1.5- 2 gallons water everyday...until friday then cut back to around 1 to 1.25 gallons until say 11 pm...
carb up will start out on wends evening, go all the way until sat morning...
Chris do you keep the water at the same intake until the Friday before?? I always started with 1 gallon on Monday, 1.5 Tuesday, 2 Wednesday, 2.5 Thursday and 3 by 5 on Friday and stop until the show. It's hard as hell to get 3 gallons in by 5 pm, but I got this advice from a guy at my gym that I know you've either competed against or know of as I've seen you comment on his pics on another site so I took the advice and it's done wonders for me...
