Cardio while bulking

22 mins EOD on the treadmill at a speed of 2.2 and an incline of 15. Like a slow walk uphill, heartrate stays between 105-120 usually.
 
I think the pendulum swings back and forth on this one. One theory says its easier to lose fat than it is to gain muscle, hence the no cardio during bulking. The alternative is to make slower muscle gains but keep the fat to a minumum by doing moderate cardio.

I've been in pre-contest for over a year and want to compete after a 21 yr break from the NPC. I did little cardio over the years despite eating well 95% of the time. So bottom line is had I kept competing (including cardio) at least once a yr, I wouldn't have to take 2 yrs to train for a show. I've let the fat accumulate esp. in the ab area as rest of me is lean.

So I would have to vote moderate cardio
 
My reason for not doing cardio is my appetite is poor and its hard for me to make sure i get enough cals in to grow so doing cardio is just going to make things harder for me. If your only looking to gain lean mass then i agree with doing some cardio but if like me all you want is max mass gains then cut the cardio so you can use them extra cals.
 
usually 12-15 mins a few times a wk at 3.5 mph on a 12-15% incline, but havent been doin any for about 4 months now
