Eating after 8pm...

They say not to do it...

I try to get at least 2000 calories or more at nightime...I make solid gains and do not gain any fat, as many may think...

Any opinions or experience with this??

Its a pretty basic philosophy of advocates for fat loss, that you never eat after 8pm at night...

That and you never feed a gremlin after midnight :gold:
 
I always ate late so my body had plenty of fuel while sleeping, so yeah i never bought int that bullshit, unless ur downing ice cream,lol
 
There are way too many "guru's" out there. They blow shit out of their ass and people eat it like it's a fucking magic pill. Eat, eat, and eat more. Train and sleep. Diet as in proper macro nutrient amounts and cycling along with cardio get you lean. You NEVER starve your body whether trying to gain muscle, lose fat, or both. The body will more than happily go into "starvation mode" at the first opportunity. This is human biology.
 
I do the majority of my eating from 5pm-1am. And I eat whatever I want. I still have abs, and never train them, so I would say thats more user dependent maybe?
 
If I never ate after 8 pm, I wouldn't be able to sleep because I get so hungry. I've been waking up in the middle of the night around 3:30-4:00 am for the last week and a half and have to eat something because my stomach is growling, and that's even after eating at about 9:00 pm, then having a protein shake at about 10:30 pm. I actually find it very interesting sometimes because normally you'd think that increasing your calories by 2,000 every day, you'd be plenty full, but I'm not. I think the so called "nutrition experts" don't really know what they're talking about when it comes to eating for bodybuilding.
