what rep range do you all normally use? im sure it varies but i feel high volume alittle lower weight has helped me with squats, presses, hacks etc. . i still may go heavy for a six or so but mostly 10, 20 and higher. . stretching and squeezing. thoughts???
 
trying sets 0f 30-50 for the next few weeks .. I don't want to lose strength but it was something to increase my endurance . It's brutal .. Almost puked last week . Will try it for the next few months . Obviously no squats . too dangerous at that rep range .. Leg presss are awesome !
 
I am a firm believer that legs grow just as well with high reps medium weight, just like shoulders do. I dont believe that you always need to go heavy in order to grow your legs! I myself train legs like i do the rest of my body, til failure!
 
I NEVER do less than 12. Sometimes up to 25 reps. I've gone to 30+ on the leg press and that's pretty bad, but nothing like 20 reps squats.
 
Lately I'm pyramiding down like: 15, 12, 10, 8, 6 as I increase the weight.


Very similar to me right now. And like you I never do weight that I cannot get at least get 6 reps with if not 8. I think that it is good to change what you are doing every 4-6 weeks, reps, exercises, order of exercises. But I always go to failure as well, nice to have a good spotter for that. I am working out with my husband right now and we have yet to kill eachother, we will wait and see how that goes when I start dieting :)
 
I normally stay around 8 reps no matter what the weight is unless I go balls out then don't go above 3
