Metal's Incline DB press 1-29-12

120's! Nice bro! There must be something going around the forum cuz I got 100's on the incline for the first time yesterday! I got 8 clean reps but struggled like hell getting them up and into position for the first rep. I think I've got 110's in me but that first rep is the killer for me.


I always feel like the 110s are just as hard as the 100s but 115 s and 120s are a different game lol
 
yeah my buddy used to be into heavy lifting than we stoped hanging out, he got to like 340 fat, did a no carb for 6 months dropped to 230 and was pressing 45 # DB's like 4 or 5 months ago, now hes already doing the 150s and is 282 lol
 
Damn Metal, you are strong that is awesome. I think I will have to start a girl forum and move over there, I cannot hang with you guys. :)

thats pritty kool, im 223lb currently, im trying to shred down as low as i can, before i bulk again. my gym only has 150's. i keep bugging the manager to get up to 200's. he said its alot of money but he's requesting the funds from corpriate.

You have to understand im the type that underestimates myself in every aspect, I told my buddy that my weak point has always been my chest and he says "dude you just got the 120s, how many ppl in this gym can do that on incline?" and I know not too many ppl can however I know a lot of ppl can barbell press more than me and when I know how strong my shoulders and back are I still feel my chest is lagging. I can do certain exercises with both of those that even my 282 pound buddy cant do or its just as hard for him, and hes an ox

I agree and I've told you before that you are pressing some serious weight. I'm not sure who you are comparing yourself to when you say that those weights aren't that impressive.
 
Thanks guys I think I really compare it to what I do in back and shoulders, like If I can beat my buddy on shoulders that can press 150s like cake it makes me feel shitty about my chest press. I have always hung out with peple older and bigger than me my entire life I guess its one of those things where u always underestimate yourself
