Yeah my back is coming up..Jim Magnone is having me do more volume type of workouts for everything...Also, straight arm pulldowns for my back is working well to...To give me more width and thickness up top (right under my arm pits) Also, lots and lots of rows (t bar, bent rows, mach rows, everything)

So far its all working well

Recap of my training now ...

Here is kinda what im doing for training right now..Alot of it is instictive and I go by feel..So I dont take days off unless I need to..So I might train 10 days in a row, then take a day or two off..Or I might just do 3 days and take a day off...

But my split has been like this as of late

day 1 - Chest am / arms pm
day 2 - Back am / calves, abs pm
day 3 - Quads am / hams pm
day 4 - Delts am / arms, abs pm

day 5 is off or start cycle over, but if I start cycle over, then that chest day im not doing arms in the afternoon (ofcourse)...

as for sets im doing about 15 on bigger bodyparts - back, quads, delts and chest...For calves, arms im doing about 10 or so...(bis 10 sets, tris 10 sets) again this is all instictive..I mean if I feel good, the pump is going well then I might end up doing 20 + sets ...It all depends on how good im feeling...

as for reps almost everything is around 10 reps for the most part..Legs I have been doing 10-15 reps..But everything else is 10 reps...I dont really go to failure to often..Because If I do I seem to overtrain pretty easily...So its just to positive failure on a few sets in the whole workout..Im actully just going for the pump (an extreme pump at that) and try to get the biggest pump possiable...Sometimes I'll do dropsets or rest pauses (not really to failure) sometimes if im feeling really good, and have some extra energy ill do a higher reps set at the end and try to get 20+ reps...My pumps with the supplements im using right now really seem to do the trick, even without all the carbs in the diet (keto/no carbs at all)

Bump - and update...

No changes from Magnum this week..Just keep the diet and cardio the same

Had a kick as quad workout yesterday, with a client..About lost my lunch !!! the student made the teacher look bad !!! LOL !!! Oh well I am getting older now...

weight is in the higher 230's or so...Weight is coming off nice and slowly...leaning up pretty good...
 
you look great chris! im assuming by how u look so far that come show time ur glutes gets straited nicely, atleast it would seem so from ur present pics, any old show pics you can also post

Continnetal USA pics (2006) week out (outdoors) weight was low 220's or so...

Won both of those shows

for your cardio, you said you where doing tred mill and bike. How long? what kind of hrt rate are you trying to maintain?
 
Update for prep !!!

Ok so here is the deal now...

Im doing the Kentucky Muscle Classic show on Nov.14th and not Nationals...Its a long story as to why im not doing Nats, but it has to do with money and my gym owner not giving me my percentage of what he owes me from the new client sign ups for bootcamps...I got screwed over, and that extra money was for Nationals to get me there (flight and hotel) now without that kind of cash, I basically cant do it..Becasue of work and the money that I got screwed out of...(he also let me go, becasue he said he coundnt afford me to teach anymore) So im back out on the job hunt looking for some other work...

But im going to make the best of it...and just try to go win the Kentucky show..As its a bigger regional level show in the midwest...

I'll get more into diet and some new pics later tonight

Cardio is at 70 mins a day now...as for heart rate, its actully pretty low..Im not going crazy fast, but enough where its kinda hard to talk, but I can if I want to...
